Would you take someone into your home and provide for them, give them an allowance, at the expense and detriment of you own family?
Pardon them for any aggression, theft, abuse or misuse of you or your family?
Accept when they invite their family to move in without permission or space?
And then, despite them living with you for years like this, they've worked cash in hand jobs, saved and not contributed to your household, they go home to a house you paid for, and retire at 40 or 50yesrs old, while you continue to work until 75+
No, neither should we as a country. Respect, meritocracy, contribution and compliance should be the minimum standard!

I hear that our political opponents are comforting themselves by saying Restore Britain won't be able to field over 600 quality candidates at a general election, especially if it comes as early as next year.
Please keep underestimating us.
That will not be a problem.

Just had a really sophisticated scam call from βGloucestershire Policeβ.
Correct number. British female voice. Text message to confirm. Really polished script.
βWeβve arrested someone who was using your identity to commit financial fraud. Your passport and drivers license was usedβ¦.β
Invites me to come to the police station nearest to me to view the evidence.
β¦ thenβ¦ Wants to confirm the crypto accounts that are genuine β¦ didnβt feel rightβ¦ she puts me through to her Sargentβ¦ British accentβ¦ he starts asking for info about my βgenuine accountsβ β¦ I start asking questions and *click*
Did some searching and it seems to be a scam thatβs doing the rounds. AI voice alteration, cloned phone numbers etc. really sophisticated.
Be careful out there.
Man this officiating is terrible, everything going for Barca. Not taking away from a lacklustre villa team, who haven't learned from the way Barca play mond
Not understanding how the foul in the build up to Haalands goal is any different to the foul on Manzambi in the first... Except the foul on Manzambi wasn't given

βAs a former RNLI Crewman Volunteer of 15 years let me educate you of Maritime Law if I may.
When these rubber boats set off from France overloaded, the French are breaking maritime law by not intercepting them and returning them to shore. When these illegal migrants boats have sailed almost 3/4 of the way to the UK and now in British waters, the RNLI and Border Force are sent out by the Coastguard on the instructions of HM Government to intercept them. They do this because if the rubber boats are allowed to land on uk soil under their own steam then everyone on board becomes an illegal immigrant and by law MUST be detained and deported asap.
However when they are picked up at sea, even if only 200 yards offshore, and in no danger whatsoever, then the RNLI and Border pick them up and they are longer called illegals - conclusion The French and The British are doing this on purpose - WHY?β
It blows my mind how many people (incl. MPs and senior commentators) will tell you refugees/asylum seekers are not illegally entering the UK...
Given asylum cannot be claimed from outside the UK, any unauthorised entry (like from small boats) is a criminal act and illegal, punishable by upto 4 years in prison.
Even if we consider the treaties and the UK "taking their fair share" of refugees, there's no requirement for giving them as much (as a total economic package) as the UK Govt do (at the expense and to the detriment of its own people), an asylum application is just an interview.
It's time we called it what it is, economic migration or economic asylum. Look at what the living and earning potential is in the majority of the countries they come from, and you'll understand.
Most of their countries have stricter capital punishment laws, prioritise their own nationals over immigrants, and offer no state welfare to non-nationals.
The Tories (and much of now ReformUK) opened this Pandora's box, and labour have helped close it with hope locked inside.
I really don't understand how so many can be ignorant & blind to this

Why does it matter that politicians have held a real job? β¨β¨
In the private sector if you blow your budgets out they fire you. In a business you go broke. In government they apologise for the undue pressure, give you a bigger budget and then you get a promotion.
In the private sector if you over promise and under deliver, youβre seen as untrustworthy and you get excluded from future projects. In government they are shocked if you actually do what you said you would.
In business we rely on voluntary trade based on real value being exchanged. In government the currency is political favours, threats, quiet promises and access. β¨β¨
Our PM hasnβt had a job since 1994. Hardly any of the Cabinet have worked in a business that trades. These people donβt understand the basics of creating more value than you spend, sticking to a budget or keeping their word. In fact all of that is scoffed at in the political circles theyβve spent decades in.
Andy isnβt a man of the people who enjoys a pint like the real people. Heβs a man of politics who hasnβt operated in the real world since Forest Gump was in the cinemas.
Our PM hasnβt even had to get elected - he couldnβt be more out of touch with reality.
Anyone else tired of the man city boys telling us the premier League would collapse of citeh were relegated?
Wouldn't it be nice if people could actually apply some sensibility and pragmatism, instead of broad generalisations.
This is music to my ears
