đŸ‡šđŸ‡± Jancis, owned by Chilean turfman Arturo Cousiño, will run in next Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf before heading to Fasig-Tipton’s November Sale as a racing/broodmare prospect. A rare granddaughter of Ruler of the World still in training, she also traces back to Chilean champion Crystal House, whose 1:55.32 record over 2,000m on turf at Club HĂpico de Santiago stood for 24 years before Equinox clocked 1:55.20 in Tokyo.

Let’s not forget that Giant Sequoia’s dam, Pink Dogwood, finished second to the very good Anapurna in the Oaks, while her full brother Latrobe won the Irish Derby. No doubt about it, I don’t think the 1m4f will be a problem for him.

She’s in foal to Frankel carrying a full sibling - she was sold back privately, but we will still get to be a part of the in utero foal đŸ’™đŸ™đŸŒ

Many were critical of Giant Sequoia’s performance in the National Stakes. Just look at the odds he started at today. He’s still a very raw horse, with plenty of learning to do, and he silenced a lot of critics @aobrienfansite Congrats @resracingky @jstewartrr @chelseyshea

133-1. Never raced on dirt and he won the @BreedersCup Classic. Jerry Bailey aboard Arcangues, 1993. $269.20 for a $2 win bet, still the biggest payoff in Breeders’ Cup history đŸ€Ż

All eyes on NOBLE EXHIBIT! The runaway favourite for tomorrow’s Futurity Trophy is out to prove his class on the big stage, and help Aidan O’Brien land yet another British trainers’ championship! 🏆 Can he deliver?

The greatest @BreedersCup Classic we’ve seen. Tiznow and Giant’s Causeway trading blows in 2000, an absolute classic. With the depth of talent lining up this year, let’s hope we get another showdown worthy of that one. đŸ”„

M. Kinane: "The whip just got caught in the rein," he said. "That's what happens. It was a mistake I made for a stride or so, but it was very late in the day and I thought the horse had given everything he had.

What a shame!!! They did a tremendous job with him to give him every chance of succeeding at stud, and he was doing a fantastic job. A real loss.

Worth remembering that she was off the track for almost a year before returning at the end of September. With her four-year-old season fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether she stays in training for 2027 or heads to the breeding shed. xitter.cf/_elmanu/status/2103887

Together Now, returning from an 11-month layoff, flies home to finish a very creditable third. The absence clearly told, but the daughter of Together Forever won’t be beaten next time.
