Our Residents tried in deploying securities, they don’t joke with that but things got out of hand and this happened if government help to boost the security plus the ones we have here, we won’t be talking about this today.

If bandits can have the guts to invade one of the most secured estates in Millennium City, area of Chikun local government of kaduna State, then no particular part of Millennium City is safe. It is genuinely sad how insecurity is gradually becoming more prevalent at the most fastest developed area of the State, and as far as I’m concerned, there is practically nothing the kaduna state government is putting in place to ensure the issue is dead. BREAKING: Last night, bandits attacked Kuimo and Kalgo communities in Mariga LGA, Niger State, around 3AM.
The attackers reportedly went from house to house, abducting residents, including women, children and elderly people. The number of people taken is still unknown. Sadly, one person was shot dead during the attack.
Residents are now living in fear, not knowing what may happen next. How long will these communities continue to suffer such attacks without lasting protection?

I am just learning about the assassination of Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka, one of the most refreshing and intellectually stimulating Muslim clerics Nigeria has seen in recent years. His death has left a vacuum I do not see being filled anytime soon. He was extraordinarily different and courageous, an uncompromising advocate of religious tolerance and a society in which people of different beliefs could coexist peacefully. He was also unafraid to ask probing questions about faith and challenge imposed dogmas. I am, to say the least, devastated and frightened by what this says about this dangerous place we call our region. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest and comfort his loved ones.

Amnesty International strongly condemns the brutal killing of renowned Islamic preacher Sheik Yahaya Masussuka who was killed today by gunmen on motorbikes as he stepped out of his house in Dutsin Ma Katsina state, to go for usual evening preaching.
The Nigerian authorities must immediately and effectively investigate the incident and ensure that those suspected of being responsible are brought to justice.
Sheik Yahaya Masussuka had consistently used his preaching to promote cooperation, peaceful coexistence, interfaith dialogue and understanding among Muslim faithful. He was also notable for preaching against violent extremism and radicalization.
The late Islamic cleric faced threats to life and intimidation — all through his life.

SUBHANALLAH: The Death of Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka Has Finally Been Confirmed.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 9 p.m., when the attackers opened fire on the cleric and his friend at the entrance to his house. They were rushed to Dutsin-Ma Hospital for emergency medical treatment, but their deaths were later confirmed.
The incident has thrown the people of Dutsin-Ma into mourning, especially the cleric’s students, admirers, and others who knew him.
May Allah have mercy on them, forgive their shortcomings, and grant their families the patience and strength to bear this painful loss.
