Jamie Carragher has finally apologised to Aston Villa, their owners and supporters, admitting his language was wrong. Even as a Manchester United fan who would love Unai Emery at Old Trafford, I don't support disrespecting Villa fans.
If United want Emery, they should approach it properly. If it doesn't happen, there are other qualified managers. Carragher needs to learn that having a microphone doesn't give him the right to disrespect people. I'm glad Villa stood their ground.

When Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Amad Diallo are your best attacking combination, it tells you everything about Manchester United's ambition.
After finishing third, the club should have strengthened aggressively to close the gap on Arsenal and City. Instead, they wasted the summer: no proper winger, no striker to support Šeško, questionable midfield signings and no defensive upgrades.
Carrick might be incompetent, but even Guardiola or Luis Enrique couldn't perform miracles with this squad. The owners have failed this team.

Take me back to the days when the top three Ballon d'Or contenders where all Barcelona players

A few weeks ago, people were sharing this picture, comparing Rodri to Sergi Busquets and debating whether he was better, even asking where he ranks among the greatest defensive midfielders of all time. Fast-forward to today, and some of those same people are slandering him and claiming he's slowing down Barcelona's attack.
So my question to everyone who put Rodri ahead of Busquets because he has a Ballon d'Or and World Cup Golden Ball, honours Busquets never won: Is Rodri still ahead of Busquets now?

Lol, Serie A is not real 😂
I love Como but I can't believe what's happening in this game.
A Napoli player clearly handled the ball in the box, interrupting play.
The referee blew the whistle for a penalty at first, VAR objected, she went to check the TV and inexplicably overturned the decision.
Fast forward a few minutes and a Venezia player got a yellow card simply because the Como player screamed, despite the fact that the Venezia player got to the ball first. I didn't see any malicious leg contact.
Fast forward a few more minutes, BOOM, Como penalty and yellow card 😭
Why? Because Venezia defenders stopped an attack.
I don't understand bro, that tackle was not even a foul, not to talk of a yellow card or even penalty.
You see such tackles in the Premier League and La Liga every week.
It's crazy.

I will never understand why AC Milan always seem to have Inter Milan's number, regardless of how dominant Inter are in Serie A. The Milan derby has a way of bringing out something special in AC Milan.
That said, you can never write Inter off. Given their reputation as comeback kings, they're in the game until the final whistle.

People mock Barcelona for beating smaller La Liga teams, but consistently winning those games is exactly how you win league titles. Ask Manchester United how difficult that supposedly simple task can be.
Barcelona have created such high expectations that anything short of the Champions League is treated as failure. But credit to Hansi Flick: he's done an excellent job building consistency in La Liga.
Great game from the team, I won't nag needlessly because of 2 losses.
Now what I want is changes.
Hansi Flick, prove to us that you actually learn, make the maximum number of changes that second half.
I don't want Pedri starting that second half, bring in Frankie De Jong, then remove Pedri too.
Raphinha, he needs a proper rest for the Champions League match.
