Our 2nd graders brought learning to life with a visit to the Georgia State Capitol and even met Governor Kemp! Students connected classroom learning to Georgia government, state leaders, citizenship, and Atlanta’s role as our state capital.

Sometimes you have to pivot! Thanks to @APSBolton 3rd grade team for completing the @99mathgame competition virtually this morning! Congrats to Ms. Austin’s class! @_HStephenson_ @APSInstructTech
Excited to share that Mr Sabogal presented at #LaCosecha this year. His session highlighted Just Talk, a platform that guides conversations in #DLI languages. This helps students extend learning by engaging in real virtual conversations with native speakers outside the classroom.
Today’s Extended Learning Day was a win. Teachers used Write Score data to plan learning. We defronted the learning environment with an engaging opener and built vocabulary knowledge with a vertical learning activity that sparked conversation. #BuildingThinkingClassrooms
