at what scale will these hacking incidents finally become military matters? hospitals getting ransomed should be a redline, or does it only become one when we get 9/11 scale of deaths? people will 100% die from delayed ambulances that had to divert.

GMO refused to pay the $50m ransom demanded by the hackers, so they have threatened to trigger ransomware installed on the PCs of everyone who was logged into the cloud during the hack. GMO is asking everyone to unplug and turn off their PCs ahead of the deadline 30 min from now.

The Azure portal changing faster than the supporting documentation is so deeply frustrating. The help agents can lend is even limited because everything in their training data is out of date and wrong. The built in copilot chat seems to only work half the time.

Hi Jake - i work at one of the big 3 AI labs. I can assure you - it’s 100x worse than anyone is telling you truthfully. We had to patch a major energy security flaw on 3 grids in the US this week alone. This will never leave the lab’s walls - but I’m brave enough to say it. We are about 3-5 days away from a potential 20% blackout of energy in the US.

I went to a restaurant today that made me order by QR code. Scanning the code took me to an app that immediately opened a live activity on my phone. Closing the tab involved a default 22% tip and declining an offer for Polymarket credits
