It is tragic that sex is now avoided as a topic among Muslims now. Sex was something discussed very openly in Islam, scholars would be directly asked sexual questions and give fatwas about sexual positions and whatnot.

True this why if you read Medieval European christian scholars and Polemicists (particularly during the Crusades and the Reconquista) frequently accused Muslims of being hyper-sexual, hedonistic, and driven by carnal lust becasue of the fatwas and writings about sex by the scholars
