🚨🎙️| Pedri: "Ferran? I hope he doesn’t have much luck tomorrow. If he gets the chance to play, I hope he doesn’t score any goals. I’ve already told him that I wish him the best of luck for the rest of the season. We spoke when the draw was made. I have a very good relationship with him. Even though we’re no longer at the same club, we see each other with the national team and talk. I have nothing to tell him, other than that I hope he doesn’t have much luck tomorrow.” #fcblive

🚨🚨🎙️| Lionel Messi on the passing of his father: "I love you, Dad. ❤️
“Dad, I still can't believe you're gone. I don't fall, or rather, I don't want to fall. It's very hard for me to imagine that I won't see you anymore, that we won't talk anymore. I know you were suffering and that it's better this way, but you left far too soon. We still had so much to experience together.
“You kept asking me to play in the last World Cup, and just a few days before it started, that's when you fell ill. It was the first time you wouldn't be present at a tournament, but Mom told me you'd get better and be fit enough to travel. I told you we'd make it to the final so you could come.
“Every time a match ended, I waited for your message, and it was missing. That's when I realized the situation was really serious. Still, I kept thinking about going as far as possible, to give you time and so you could attend a match. We made it to the final, and you couldn't be there. I wanted to win it to bring it back to you and show it to you one more time. I couldn't take it anymore; my legs wouldn't respond. This time, I tried to push against my body, but I couldn't. I've never managed to feel good.
“When I got back, you thought we'd lost the final on penalties. We couldn't talk about everything that had happened. You couldn't enjoy any of it. We didn't become champions, but you don't know how much we savored every match. Once again, you were right: we had to be there and play it.
“I tell this because it's the only thing we couldn't talk about, since you already know everything else. We talked every day and saw each other whenever my commitments allowed.
“I don't know what I'm going to do without you; I don't know how to keep going. Me, I just played football, and now I have a lot of doubts about continuing for much longer. You've been by my side from the beginning; we were so close to the end. Why couldn't you hold on just a little longer so we could finish together?
“I know your happiness was seeing your family doing well—your wife, your children, and especially in recent years, watching me play.
“Since I was little, it's always been that way. You took me to all the training sessions right after getting home from work. For many of them, it was Mom who took me because you were working.
“Of course, you never missed a match. How you suffered watching me, and how you enjoyed it, even though you never gave me many compliments.
“You were a father, a friend, and my agent. You were always the person you needed to be in every moment, and you were never wrong about anything. Despite a few reproaches or arguments, you were always right. In the end, things always turned out the way you said they would.
“I'm going to miss you immensely, but you'll always be present, especially in the upbringing of my children, because I teach and raise them the way you did with me.
“Rest in peace and watch over us from up there like you did here. Thank you for everything.” ❤️
