Often times when you are the one of your family who moved, graduated, started the business, began the healing journey it can feel isolating. You don’t have many examples and sometimes you have folks close to you who don’t understand your vision.

Being an entrepreneur means getting a thousand no’s before getting one yes and then when that one yes works everyone wants to act like they been believing in what you were building.. even though they ignored you the whole time.

as a music tastemaker, you should be able to distinguish between quality versus a lack of whether you personally like something or not.

Actually it’s about Jesus Christ teaching me how to walk on water, to trust Him and not in human understanding. He changed my life. And if you seek Him He will fill you up too. He is the Lord of Lords. The word of God, made flesh I am His sheep. He is my Shepherd. And I have been forever transformed. I am His forever. THATS JUST ME DOE

Three types of music artists. Signed artists. Independent artists. Aspiring artists. Problem is it’s too many aspiring artists that think they are independent and but move like this stuff is a vibe. The music industry is not a vibe my boy it’s a business.

What’s flattering about someone taking your work without asking and making money off of it and not having any credit or anything? Serious question?
CAROLINA FELLA (@reallyjimmied) profile pictureCAROLINA FELLA@reallyjimmied13 Sep 2023
I see this happen often, my question with full transparency, is it not flattering to see your work appear in other places? Is it just the principal that whomever is using it didn’t take the necessary steps to have you approve it or compensate you?

And when you pray tonight…pray for a partner that is active in all seasons. Some people’s presence is conditional.. they are here when times are good and days are very bright. However, some will stand by you during storms and later testify when days are sunny. Treasure them.

And when you pray tonight..pray for the ability to understand God’s promise. Don’t allow tough times erase the fact that God will never leave nor forsake you. As tough as it gets, always remember that He is with you. Whatever you’re facing right now, shall definitely pass.

Just saw a 6 second ad on TikTok that I was paid over $10k to do the music for. Many producers think the only way to make a living is selling beats/begging for placements. I’m here to tell you this isn’t true lol – at Los Angeles, CA
