A dispute that outlives the people affected by it. A process that becomes the destination. A system so slow that time itself becomes the final judgment. For centuries we've accepted that delay as normal. We built institutions where waiting became part of the cost of being right. Now we're entering a world where AI agents will make agreements, exchange value, and interact with each other at a scale that makes traditional timelines feel impossible. The problem isn't that disputes will disappear. The problem is that they'll arrive faster than ever. A justice system measured in years cannot keep pace with activity measured in seconds.
