I've never listened "I love procurement".
an agent that fixes the exception inside the ERP, with approvals and the paper trail, so suppliers/comanies never have to chase an invoice again?
sounds promising. we're getting to AGI

for context: @soti_house edition in southern italy, in spain (valencia) and San Francisco
turned edition 3 of Valeras in the Loop into an X article (I learned): internal Lovables, tokens as money, and who's operating
Atresmedia put ~2M€ of ad space into Fever as media-for-equity back in 2015
total in by 2022: 27-29M€
total out after 3 sales: 296M€, around 11x.
wdy think? still a good business to do media for equity? I'd say its becoming more popular, as distribution is tending to get harder
spain tech investment is up 24.2% in 2026 (jan-sept)
take out 4 rounds from companies with a foreign parent (Fever, HappyRobot, Open Cosmos, Quartz) and it's +2.1%

cost per resolution is the KPI I'd watch for voice agents most of the time, and this is why.
the more complex the call, the more voice wins
The longer the conversation, the higher the success rate for voice agents.
We analyzed 469 agents running both voice and chat in production and saw an interesting pattern. When the conversation gets complex, voice is the fastest path to resolution.

tomorrow and thursday I might be going to Tech Show Madrid (IFEMA). worth it?
who else is going? I was checkin wednesday afternoon for the AI talks. dm me and let’s grab a coffee there
how is it possible that I only have 507 connections from ElevenLabs? only half of the people.
bad execution from my side 😪
a lot of AI startups pick a segment they can't reach.
and a good segment isn't just people with the problem). you need people you can get in front of again, and again
if you can't reach them repeatedly, it's a wish list. that's why I believe that GTM and growth profiles are becoming much more important
I always try to keep a gender balance when organising events
so finally today:
- 1st time this year I managed to get >33% women at a tech event
- 1st time this year I use chatGPT
our capacity is 25...
for context:
> women often tell me there aren't enough women at my events
> sponsors generally prefer a better gender balance in the events they support
> ultimately, everyone is happier
tbh, it's not something I actively think about when putting an event together. I just try to encourage more women to attend whenever I can
also, I do believe events are a reflection of the person organising them. the audience you attract tends to reflect your own profile
