Back on August 31st, 2025. Blue Archive Global server was hacked from an IP in the Netherlands. Causing most content to be replaced by Koyuki. Some of these include when logging in: - Students in the Cafe are filled with her, occasionally by Hatsune Miku (on that day is Hatsune Miku's birthday) - Recruitment banner and event swapped with her chibi model. - The news page has been retitled "nihahaha" (her signature laugh). - Some of them linked to the unofficial YouTube channel " Koyuki ch". However, the channel owner has no involvement in the incident. The game was closed for over an hour for emergency maintenance to restore an asset, and compensation was issued to players afterwards. Nexon confirmed the user data is still untouched; the incident only took place on the client side and is separated from the main server. It also reported the incident to the Korea Internet Security Agency (KISA) for investigation. From the investigation, they found the problem: the game has a CDN (Content Delivery Network) issue; the hacker redirected the CDN to their own server by using a man-in-the-middle instead of Nexon. Making the hacker able to change anything displayed, but the user account info is still safe since the server saved it separately. After the incident, the game server increased security to prevent a similar incident from happening again. Still, that incident is considered a meme as we know it today. #BlueArchive #ブルアカ #블루아카이
