Rant time! Sometimes I hate being in the VRC avatar making community, seeing people sell just unoptimized slop that all looks the same and slapping $40 on it like it’s worth that. You’re paying for bad assets at that point like what’s the point anymore.

Most of the time these Avis are also broken, incredibly hard to edit and work with, or edits made to them are actual hot garbage. It’s not hard to make and edit avatars within optimized means but people are just too lazy to actually learn how to.

And don’t get me started with avi “preorders” or people saying “I worked so hard on this!” When it’s just assets smashed together for a base everyone already uses. And yes making from scratch Avis isn’t that hard, there’s ways to learn and a community for it.
