There is a difference between holding leaders accountable and constantly portraying your country as a failure.

First of all, it is the height of economic illiteracy to denominate the external debt of any country, with the notable exception of the United States, in its local currency when the debt itself was acquired in a foreign currency.
In Nigeria's case, the debt was acquired in dollars, and the foreign exchange earnings with which it is expected to be repaid are equally denominated in dollars. Yet, you choose to conduct your analysis in Naira. To what end, exactly?
It may appear to you as mere propaganda, but this is the social media, where, even ten years from now, people who hail you today may stumble upon these same arguments and begin to wonder whether you ever recovered from the intellectual malnutrition you suffered in 2026. The internet has a long memory, particularly when it comes to our moments of foolery. What you publish today may become tomorrow's permanent exhibit of how ignorant you are in state matters.
Now, to the substance.
Nigeria's public debt figures:
December 31, 2021 – $95.77 billion
December 31, 2022 – $103.11 billion
June 30, 2023 – $113.42 billion
December 31, 2024 – $94.23 billion
December 31, 2025 – $110.97 billion
June 30, 2026 – $120.93 billion
From June 2023, when the debt stood at $113.42 billion, to June 2026, when it stood at $120.93 billion, the increase is approximately $7.51 billion.
Now, why should we not conduct our external debt analysis in Naira?
Quite simply, because the Naira is a volatile currency, susceptible to fluctuations in exchange rates. Consequently, the Naira equivalent of our external debt can rise or fall dramatically without the government necessarily borrowing an additional dollar or repaying a single dollar of the existing obligation.
Let me simplify this for you.
Assume the official exchange rate is N10 to a dollar, and Nigeria's external debt stock is $100. Its Naira equivalent would be N1,000.
Now, let us assume a Tinubu arrives on the scene, floats the Naira, and harmonises the official and parallel market exchange rates, resulting in the Naira exchanging at N50 to a dollar.
Suddenly, that same $100 debt stock now translates to N5,000.
Did Nigeria borrow an additional N4,000 worth of debt? No!
Did the dollar-denominated debt increase by a single dollar? No!
What changed was the exchange rate, not the underlying dollar obligation.
Do you understand the distinction?
This is precisely why serious economic analysis denominates external debt in the currency in which it was contracted and in which it is expected to be serviced. Anything short of that risks confusing exchange-rate depreciation with actual debt accumulation.
Therefore, unless your intellectual capacity is as diminished as Dickson's, this is hardly a gig you should accept, much less propaganda you should lend your voice to.
You are educated. Do not descend into the company of those who have chosen to make a career out of economic illiteracy.
Good Afternoon Severally...
Shall I Begin?
An obidient told me Nigerians are not angry enough and I told him Nigerians don't need to be angry they need critical thinking, the guy has been fuming since.
Nobody cares! You started a war and lost! You did a coup that slaughtered leaders from the Western and Northern Regions while sparing yours. Your people in the North mocked the Northerners over the killing of the Sarduana. As if that was not enough, your people went on to end the regional system of government by fiat via Agunyi Ironsi's decree and planned to rule over others.
There was a reaction which led to the war you ultimately lost. Ibos are no victims! You are a deeply greedy and coveteous people who started what they couldn't finish. Unfortunately as a people, you haven't really learnt your lesson.
I don’t think any tribe in Nigeria gets this but there’s a certain level of trauma that the war had on the igbos
We need to be honest with ourselves
I had an aunty that anytime she heard loud noises, she remembers airstrikes and shelling
Or is it my dad that saw an airstrike in a market that killed the a woman carrying a child on her back.
He tried to run and rescue the child but the bombings was too much
Till today he wonders if that child made it
My dad was 8 years old at the time
I just think that we should tell these stories more

Have you ever for once thought about the severe trauma the Biafra soldiers caused for other tribes.
1. In Lagos 19 July, 1967: An ibo man drove a fuel tanker loaded with fuel and explosives to the Lagos casino cinema, he timed the explosives to go off in the evening(19:55pm) when people were inside expecting to watch a movie. The explosives destroyed the Cinema, killed some people inside and over 70 people were severely injured.
2.Kwale oilfield raid(May 1969), Delta state; Biafran commandos killed 11 innocent oil workers and technicians.
3.Calabar 18 Oct 1967; in lkot Okpot and Idoro, about 169 detainees were shot by biafran soldiers.
I will stop here, because diving into what biafran soldiers did in Benin, including the mass raping of women might be too gory to describe.
Finally, your people were not and are not victims, those minorities that you raid, shot, raped etc, are the victims.

Only a manipulator can claim trauma from a war they started. You massacred the political leaders of other regions without provocation while keeping yours safe, ended the regional system, mocked the families of the dead, and started a war of ego. You will never hear a German citizen claim to be traumatised by the Second World War.
What responsible people do after a terrible mistake is own up, apologise, and put systems in place so it never happens again, as the Germans did. But unlike the Germans, you did the opposite.
You blame everyone except yourselves and abuse everyone while sleepwalking into another disaster.

I'd place money on it. She is Obidient.
They hate this country with a passion. They won't love it until Obi becomes president, which means that they can't love it. And it does not matter how much progress we make as a country.
Patriotic Nigerians must resign to this truth.
A Nigerian lady just messed up my day on Tiktok
So this Yankee lady documented her trip to Nigeria to meet her BF on Tiktok. Lovely content and her Yankee people are already organizing group visit bcs the way she packaged the content even me just dey smile.
She said the airport authority didn't allow jer to record in the airport terminal and they had to take a bus from the tarmac bcs there's a construction going on.
One Naija lady came and said
"Lagos airport is the worst of all airports in the world"
One Oyinbo came and said No, she's been to Lagos couple times and it's a decent airport plus when the construction finishes it'll be lovely.
She replied and said l... You don't know what you're talking about, Nigerian airport is dirty and rubbish.
The content creator came herself and said - she actually likes the airport even with the construction is still a lovely place and she's been to worse airports Lagos doesn't even count as a bad airport.
The Nigerian lady came back and said "They are only hyping rubbish, she's a Nigerian and it's the worst airport anywhere"
My blood just dey boil 😡
Why are you bent on denigrating your own country even visitors are telling you no, you still dey tell bad mouth your own country infrastructure
Why are young Nigerians doing this thing?
What will we gain?
Omo! I never see this kind thing before.
What is the goal of such behavior?

Lol. You think they don’t know what they’re doing? The first Nigerian military coup was orchestrated by the tribe of the people you tagged. And no, I’m not being tribalistic. I’m merely pointing to history.
The soldiers all agreed to kill leaders from all regions. But on D-Day, you and I know the military group that spared their own leaders while killing leaders from other regions.
You may say “but 1966 is a long time ago” and you’d be right, but the mere passage of time hardly changes a doctrine that’s passed down through generations.
They have become experts at subterfuge. Find useful idiots among other groups. Incite them against their leaders while you stay united. As long as they remain divided, you’re just a few steps away from conquering them.
It’s an ideology.
Morris is right btw.
But then, same should also be directed to everyone who pushed for the “burning of bridges with any one linked with APC”. I’m tagging everyone who jumped on the timeline to drag, bully, and mock Timi Dakolo for saying "Don't make enemies because of politics."
You knew FULL WELL he was right, cos you practice it yourselves, having friends, pals and relatives connected to the "evil" you supposedly fight against, while refusing to make them your enemies.
Two contradictory stances cannot simultaneously hold true, either Timi Dakolo was WRONG and Morris should make an enemy out of his Brother, OR Timi Dakolo was right and everyone who dragged him for it are hypocrites.

Using this silly analogy, the reason the Ibos don't go to the cinemas to watch movies is because they have TVs at home and the reason Yorubas go to the cinema is because they don't have TV at home 😂😂😂
Useless copium
I don't really know much about Akwa Ibom or Calabar , but let me speak on behalf of my Igbo people.
We Igbos don't really believe in buying cooked food. We prefer to prepare our own meals.
One reason I think the Yorubas have thrived more in the food business is that they are more accustomed to buying prepared food rather than always cooking at home.
Growing up, our Yoruba neighbours would give their children ₦20 every morning to buy food before going to school. Our parents, on the other hand, rarely did that. They made sure we had food prepared at home before leaving for school.
Years ago, if you opened a commercial food business in the East, you might struggle to make sales because people weren't accustomed to buying cooked food. Almost everyone prepared their own meals at home.
So, I think this difference in food culture is one of the reasons the Yorubas gained an advantage in the food business.
What is good for Greece is not good Uganda.
Before dem use you, you better use your sense.
No. I’ve not. What are you going to do about it? We are two completely different souls just sharing same blood. But what are you going to do about it? I’m curious.
Davido did his runway last 2 years
Sanwo-Olu did his runway this year
Probably Tony Elumelu will do his runway next year.
What are you going to do about it?

If we really want to talk about soups that was inspired by poverty in Nigeria then Igbo soups tops the list. Majority of their soups were discovered during the war due to extreme starvation and poverty. They were literally eating anything that grows.

If you shared everything Nigeria’s federal government expects to collect in 2026 equally among Nigerians, each person would get $114.35 for the year. That is $9.53 a month, about N13,000.
And that assumes nothing else happens. No roads, no schools, no hospitals, no army, no salaries. Just the entire federal revenue divided by the number of Nigerians.
The first delusion to cure yourself of is that Nigeria is a rich country. You cannot heal a disease you refuse to acknowledge.
As a Nigerian, you should be angry that our election conversations almost never touch this, the mother of every other problem we have.
How do we expand our productivity?
That is the question. Everything else sits inside it.
Today is Sunday. When they say “Owó ni kẹ̀kẹ́ ìhìnrere,” what do you think it means?
It does not apply to the gospel alone. Whatever you want to carry, money is what carries it. It is why one of the first things the United States did in its war on terror was go after the money.
