Yesterday, I jokingly mentioned on a backyard’s space that I was going to get a haircut and mentioned the area. You people won’t believe what happened. By the time I stepped out of the barbershop, there wasn’t a single woman in sight. Shops were closed, balconies were empty. Apparently, the men had evacuated their girlfriends before my barber finished the lineup. I know the glow after my haircut can destabilise relationships but you people should have some faith in yourselves. I have a woman. I respect relationships. One man cannot get a haircut without an entire neighbourhood activating emergency protocols? This is why I don’t even go outside. SMH.
