PS4 owners on 14.00 or below: DO NOT UPDATE to FW 14.02. Sony pushed it almost right after the 14.00 jailbreaks went public. Their notes only say "security fixes", so treat it as a likely patch until it's tested. I'll post here the moment it's confirmed safe to update. Too much misinformation is being spread about PS4 FW 14.00 jailbreak, so let's clear things up: • well0nez's (m0zz's) exploit is safe, unique, and highly stable. The full source is on GitHub (see my previous tweets). • Using PSN alone is unlikely to get you banned. Cheating online is what will most likely get your account and/or console banned.

Here's my take: @notnotzecoxao has spent years contributing to this scene and, to the best of my knowledge, has never gone running to $ony. You, @ASaudidos, on the other hand, have been a net negative since day one. You arrived with your AI-assisted "skills", started reporting vulnerabilities to H1, endlessly bragged about reversing GoldHEN, chased clout at every opportunity, and picked public fights with some of the scene's most respected contributors, including @Sonic_Iso . All that while contributing very little of actual value yourself. If you're really as skilled as you claim, why not focus on more lucrative targets that actually benefit the broader tech community without hurting the gaming scene? Google, Microsoft, and plenty of other companies pay far more than Sony ever will. Goodbye. You won't be missed.

There are heaps of ways to make a lot more money with private exploits than any organization would pay (I won't list them here for obvious reasons). Reporting that rare HV bug and burning it instead of taking advantage of it is the kind of self‑sabotage only people who don’t understand the value of what they’re holding would ever do.

Translation to what that idiot says: "I used AI to reverse engineer GoldHEN, a fully copyrighted and actively maintained PS4 payload that Sistro, one of the scene's top contributors, and countless other good people like @Kameleonre_ have spent years building, refining and supporting. They literally released a new build a few days ago for the latest jailbreak right after it dropped, keep fixing issues, keep adding features that people request. And here I am, proudly dumping my stolen, low-quality slop into the timeline like I just performed some historic act of digital liberation. Please gather around while I pretend my Frankensteined copy-paste mess is a gift to humanity. I promise to shout freedom-of-speech every time someone points out that this code looks like a drunk compiler fell down a flight of stairs." Him and other clowns like him, plus the geniuses cheering him on, are exactly why top developers stopped releasing their work publicly and only share inside small circles of people they actually trust. And to the so-called "developers" who are busy preaching that we should support the criminal, let's see how cool & loud you are when someone forks and rebrands the FOSS project you spent time, money and efforts researching and developing...

Just to be clear, root keys on their own are not enough. A root key doesn't decrypt content directly, there's a derivation step between it and any usable content key, and that step isn't something you can just apply. And decryption isn't signing: CFW needs a private signing key and a hypervisor that will run the result, and neither of those is in the key bank.
