A few misconceptions about the Don Jazzy x TS Academy Scholarship:
- Hidden Fees:
The application fee is not hidden. Don Jazzy mentioned it in his video, and it is clearly stated six times on the scholarship website. But it's clear that many people didn't watch the video or even visited the website. The tuition itself is free.
- 26k Application Fee:
The application fee will be discounted and will not be the standard TS Academy fee.
- Classes:
TS Academy classes are held live, and recordings are made available afterward.
- Pocket watchers.
TS Academy has over 90 staff members and employs 150 students annually as student moderators. You are doing mathematics for hundreds/thousands of registration, but what is leaving your own pocket for 3-6 months course is just N26k. N26k is not paying anyone's salary.

As I was paying all my tithe to the various Mission fields and Mission churches where I pay to...
I, myself, I'm going through a lot...(my very close pals here know about it), but when God instructs me... I must Obey.
God instructed me to re-direct part of my tithe here. I heard it clearly.

Don Jazzy clearly mentioned that there's an application fee. It is also mentioned twice in the website, and that it will be discounted. If you were to pay for those courses that run 3 to 4 months, how much do you think they cost?
Is it N26k that made you write this long note or you just don't rate tech enough? The sum is simply an application fee, everyone have a right to decide not to pay. Even international scholarships are not always 100%.
Human psychology is interesting because people take those classes more seriously when they have to pay something however little, than when it is completely free.
The academy have teachers and engineers to pay. They supply laptops and study materials for their students. They organize retreat in every city for their students to connect. Or you just feel like dragging Don Jazzy inspite of all his kindnesses?
So Don Jazzy partnered with TS Academy to offer what is being presented as a scholarship to Nigerians, but the scholarship acceptance fee is around ₦26,000.
Lmao. Imagine 300 people paying ₦26,000 each. That is ₦7.8 million.
Only God knows when ordinary Nigerians will be free from the grip of rich people.
Dangote is promising us heaven and earth to make us rich by force. They are hawking IPO shares in the market now.
Another packaged tech course is here again.
Of course, it could be a paid promotion or partnership, whatever you want to call it. Several celebrities and big accounts on X have also promoted TS Academy.
But my question is simple: how many Nigerians who have taken these courses are now earning comfortably from the skills they acquired?
How many have secured jobs, landed clients or built sustainable businesses from the training?
Every day, it is tech, tech, tech. Everybody is selling one course or promoting one academy.
Nigerians are desperately looking for ways to escape poverty, and these businesses know it.
