Why are Kenyan businesses paying nearly 50% more for electricity than businesses in Uganda, and more than twice as much as those in Vietnam? The World Bank report points to opaque power purchase agreements and weak procurement as part of the reason electricity costs so much in Kenya. This is exactly the problem Edwin Sifuna took to the Senate in 2023. His Energy (Amendment) Bill called for three things: ✅ Publish electricity tariffs and show Kenyans exactly what they pay in taxes and other charges. ✅ Make agreements with Independent Power Producers public and disclose who owns those companies. ✅ Protect consumers from hidden charges on their electricity bills #WhoIsEmptyNow

The worshippers of today are something else. I honestly don't understand this new church culture. When did pastors become 'dad' and their wives 'mum'? A pastor is a spiritual leader not a replacement parent. You can respect, honour and learn from your pastor without giving him a family title.
