Year 1 enjoyed their workshop with Florence Nightingale. It was a great interactive session where they learnt lots of facts about her and had the chance to act out parts of her life. The children particularly enjoyed bandaging eachother up.
Red Nose Day is on the 15th March.
Please wear your uniforms as normal but wear a red nose and bring a joke in to share!
Nursery have recently begun attending weekly Rhythm time sessions until the end of this half term. It has been lovely to see them engaged in music, movement and listening activities each week!
Please contact [email protected] for more information. Alternatively, pop into our school office for guidance if needed :)
Thursday 7th December. Children should wear their uniform/PE kit but with a Christmas Jumper in place of their school cardigan or jumper
Are you coming to our Christmas Fair?
Reminder that it is Friday 8th December 5pm-7:30pm!
See you there!
Some children went litter picking today. The children couldn't believe how much we found on the school field, even though at a glance, we thought we wouldn't find anything!
We were very lucky to have a visit from Pudsey this week! The children throughout school were very excited to meet him and raised lots of money today donating money to wear Pudsey-themed clothes and buy raffle tickets to win a Pudsey Bear teddy!
Years 3, 4 and 5 finished the half-term with a creative writing workshop from Jack Meggitt-Phillips, the award-winning author of the Beast and The Bethany series.
During his workshop, children were given the prompts and inspiration to write and finish their own short stories.
