Our Founder and Executive Director, David Ogunlade, AICMC was one of the top 3 winners of the BudgIT Methane Mission Creators Challenge, organised by @BudgITng
At The Intelligentsia Leadership Foundation @_TheILF we're raising ethically sound leaders, and that includes leaders who take ESG seriously. How we handle our energy, our environment and our communities is a leadership question, not just a policy one.
David's entry makes the point plainly about how informed citizens are the strongest force for accountability, and gas flaring has gone on long enough.

I'll be speaking tonight at The LEAD Conference, and I'm excited.
This isn't another talk about leadership. It's a call to raise leaders who understand that influence is not a compliment to enjoy, but a responsibility to steward.
Over two nights, we'll be dissecting what it truly means to emerge as a purpose-driven leader at a time that desperately needs competence over convenience.
If you're ready to be part of how true leadership should be done, join us: bit.ly/47yXzMY

I'm speaking this Friday at Redefining the Standards of Consistency, a conversation on what it really takes to show up, stay disciplined, and keep delivering even when nobody is watching.
Consistency is rarely glamorous. It's built in the quiet, unseen moments, and that's exactly what we'll be unpacking: the psychology behind it, the discipline that sustains it, and the impact it creates over time.

Last night, 21st October, 2026, I had the privilege of speaking to Cohort 2 of MJ's School of Productivity by Joseph Muyiwa-Abe on Self Leadership.
I told them the story of a lion cub raised among sheep. He ran when the beast came to the river, until the day he finally roared. His problem was never a lack of teeth or muscle. He just didn't know what he was.
My point to them: the first person you will ever lead is you. And self leadership is simply deciding who you are, then keeping the promises that person would keep, even when the sheep are running the other way.
We left with two small things to do: write a "lion line" that night and keep one tiny daily promise for 30 days.
Thank you to the MJ's School of Productivity team for the invitation and to the cohort for the energy and the honest chat responses.
Somewhere out there, a lion is still deciding whether to follow. I hope a few of them did.

I dream of hosting a landmark leadership conference through my organisation, The Intelligentsia Leadership Foundation @_TheILF, at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, bringing together 5,000 young Nigerians and emerging leaders.
I envision a powerful gathering featuring voices I deeply admire and respect, my role model, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN @ProfOsinbajo, Dr. Sam Adeyemi @sam_adeyemi, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili @obyezeks, Mr. Oluseun Onigbinde @seunonigbinde, H.E. Peter Obi @PeterObi, former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Also the following people and the topics.
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on Global leadership & economic transformation
Dr. Oby Ezekwesili onGovernance & accountability
Mrs. Ibukun Awosika on Character, leadership & entrepreneurship
Amina Mohammed on Diplomacy & sustainable development
Prof. Folasade Ogunsola on Education, intellectual leadership & institution-building
Beyond speeches, this will be a space for honest conversations on the salient issues confronting Nigeria, leadership, governance, citizenship, and the question of how we can collectively birth a New Nigeria.
Most importantly, I want this conference to become a meeting point between the old and the new generation where experience meets fresh ideas, where wisdom meets courage, and where young Nigerians are empowered to take responsibility for the future of our country. It is a vision for the Nigeria we want to build.
And I hope, someday, we make it happen.

Today, 19th July 2026, I join millions of Nigerians and admirers across the world in celebrating the His Excellency, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, CON, @PeterObi on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
As you mark another year, I pray that God grants you continued strength, wisdom, sound health, and grace for the assignments ahead.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, many Nigerians look forward to issue based campaigns, mature democratic engagement, and leadership that prioritises national development over politics. May the process produce the very best for our country and deepen our democracy.
For many years, you have remained one of the most influential voices in Nigeria's leadership conversation. Whether people agree with your politics or not, your consistency, simplicity, and commitment to accountability have earned you the respect of many. At a time when many Nigerians are searching for leaders they can trust, you have continued to inspire hope and remind people that public office should be about service, not self interest. That is a legacy worth celebrating.
It was an honour when we planned to host you as the keynote speaker at The International Leadership Conference 2026, organised by The Intelligentsia Leadership Foundation @_TheILF . The circumstances that surrounded the incident was beyond our control. We look forward to hosting in the future, your Excellency.
Happy Birthday, Your Excellency. Wishing you many more years of impactful service to Nigeria and humanity, my leader.
