Real change begins the moment you stop waiting and start acting. Even small, imperfect steps taken consistently are more powerful than the best advice never used.
Today’s thought from @toddhenry
"Mediocrity doesn't just happen. It's chosen over time through small choices day by day."
A Thought from Epictetus
"Keep your attention focused entirely on what is truly your concern and be clear that what belongs to others is their business and none of yours."
Today’s Read from @shaneparrish book, Clear Thinking:
Complaining isn't productive. It only misleads you into thinking that the world should function in a way that it doesn't.

Therapy won't save you.
Self-help books won't save you.
Discipline won't even save you.
The only thing that saves you is deciding, once, fully, completely, that you are responsible for your own life.
Everything else is just tools.
This week's read: Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.
One line that stopped me cold:
"Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one."
That's it. That's the whole self-help industry, dissolved in 13 words.
Curious what line stopped @RyanHoliday cold.
The Stoics had no smartphones.
No notifications. No dopamine loops. No endless scroll.
Yet they still warned about distraction destroying the mind.
Imagine what they'd say about us.
Seneca said we suffer more in imagination than in reality.
Think about the last thing that kept you up at night.
Did it ever actually happen?
If not, what are you really afraid of?
Nietzsche: "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how."
Most people chase comfort and call it a good life.
The ones who find their why don't need comfort.
They already have something better, purpose.
You are not your thoughts. You are the one watching them. That gap, between thought and observer, is where freedom lives.
Marcus Aurelius ruled the most powerful empire on earth.
Every morning he reminded himself he was nothing.
That's not weakness. That's the most powerful mental habit a human being can practice.
Here's what he knew:
The most dangerous enemy you have is not outside you.
It never was.
"The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way."
Your obstacle is your path. Always has been.
