🚨 Breaking News
Reports from the Central Front (TDF/Tigray)
More than 1,300 soldiers from the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) have been killed or wounded, and a significant quantity of weapons and supplies has been seized. This occurred after the TDF’s 42nd Division—a unit with extensive combat experience—decimated ENDF forces that had advanced from the directions of Aksum and Mahbere Dego.
The ENDF’s 54th and 55th Battalions, operating under the Western Command, were involved in this engagement. According to the report, the TDF killed 500 ENDF soldiers—including two commanders leading military units—and wounded another 800.
The equipment and supplies captured include:
3 DShK heavy machine guns

Ethiopian drone strikes killed at least a dozen of civilians and injured around 30 in Rama town in Tigray region! The return of war to Tigray is leading to mass killings.

Footage purportedly shows foreign fighters alongside the Ethiopian National Defence Forces (ENDF) 🇪🇹 in the Tigray region. The exact location remains unverified, but shop signage and the language spoken by locals strongly suggest it was filmed in Tigray.
Do you have anything to say @NobelPrize?
#News_Alert: Authority suspends registration of #Ethiopia’s oldest independent newspaper indefinitely
Founded in 1995 by general manager Amare Aregawi, The Reporter is Ethiopia’s oldest privately owned independent newspaper. The publication operates under the motto “Free Press, Free Speech, Free Spirit” and has covered national politics, regional conflicts, economic developments and social issues for more than three decades.
In a statement issued on Monday, the #EMA said its monitoring of content published and broadcast by the media house over the past year had identified what it described as “repeated violations of law and professional ethics.”

Who are these foreign forces operating in Tigray, and whose interests are they serving?
As clearly seen in this video, foreign military forces are operating in Tigray, supporting the Ethiopian regime of Abiy Ahmed. The video was recorded in Gerhu Sernay, north-central Tigray.
Given the mass atrocities and genocide committed against Tigrayan civilians, any foreign military involvement demands an immediate, independent investigation. The people of Tigray deserve protection, accountability, and justice.

You can overhear their conversation in American English. He is looking for batteries. The person recording it suggests they could be Israelis....
But they could also be @realErikDPrince's mercenaries. Some were recently ambushed and killed in DRC.
The question is why would they be in Tigray???
ALARMING REPORTS FROM TIGRAY: FOREIGN ARMED PERSONNEL SPOTTED IN RURAL COMMUNITIES
Recent photographs reportedly taken in rural towns of Tigray show armed foreign-looking personnel dressed in military fatigues. Local residents have identified these individuals as Israeli nationals, although their identities, nationality, and military affiliations have yet to be independently verified.
Their reported presence raises deeply troubling questions: Are foreign mercenaries participating in or supporting Abiy Ahmed’s renewed military campaign against Tigray? Who deployed them, and what is their mission?
As civilians in Tigray continue to suffer from devastating military operations, drone strikes, and bombardments, any involvement of foreign armed personnel demands urgent international scrutiny.
The international community must investigate these reports, establish the identities and roles of the individuals pictured, and demand accountability for any foreign involvement in attacks against civilians.
Tigray must not become an unaccountable battlefield for foreign military interests.

Reports of attacks on civilians in #Ethiopia's Amhara and Tigray regions are deeply disturbing. Among those reportedly killed in the Jaari 2 displacement camp in Amhara were children, including a newborn. In another attack in Rama, Tigray, several people were reportedly killed while trying to get food.
While these are the latest incidents, drone attacks and civilian casualties have tragically become frequent across Ethiopia.
The violence in northern Ethiopia is pushing an already fragile health system closer to collapse. Hospitals face shortages of health workers, medicines, and equipment. Ambulance services are severely limited. Insecurity is obstructing the delivery of life-saving medical supplies to some areas. @WHO and @UN partners are working around the clock to deliver additional much needed medical supplies to all the affected regions.
As fighting continues, more people are likely to lose access to essential health care, including emergency services, maternal and child health care, and treatment for diseases.
Civilians must be protected. Health workers and humanitarian supplies must be allowed to reach those in need.
The most courageous choose peace. The best medicine is peace.

ENDF’s Foreign Mercenaries Filmed In Tigray Again
Foreign mercenaries believed to be backed by the UAE or Israel were recently spotted in Gerhu Sernay, Central #Tigray. New footage appears to show them moving through Axum under the escort of the Ethiopian National Defense Force.
Moscow claims to champion Orthodox Christian values, yet arms Abiy Ahmed with fighter jets while Ethiopian Orthodox communities and churches come under fire. The hypocrisy is laid bare: faith is just PR when weapons deals are on the table.

News: Rights groups urge #UN Human Rights Council special session as #Ethiopia fighting raises atrocity fears
A coalition of human rights organizations has called on the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) to convene a special session on Ethiopia, warning that renewed large-scale hostilities could lead to a repeat of atrocities committed during the country’s 2020–2022 war.
“The significant escalation means that the 2022 Cessation of Hostilities Agreement has collapsed,” the organizations said, while warning of mounting risks to civilians.
They said Ethiopia’s transitional justice process has largely stalled, while the HRC’s decision to end the mandate of the International Commission of Human Rights Experts on Ethiopia (#ICHREE) removed an international mechanism that had been investigating violations and supporting accountability.
“The resulting impunity,” the organizations warned, creates “grave risks for civilians, including of new atrocities.”

How convenient. While the genocidal Ethiopian regime was bombing schoolchildren and food aid in #Tigrai, you were nowhere to be found. Now, you are accusing Tigrai of defending itself? It is now clear that you are not a neutral party.
U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia Ervin J. Massinga’s Statement on Recent Developments in Tigray and Afar: “I am disappointed to see the leadership of the TPLF, that the United States sanctioned earlier this year, make the poor decision to launch a large-scale offensive today. Rejecting dialogue sponsored by the AU under President Obasanjo and engaging in an unwinnable fight does nothing for the people. Other armed groups would be wise to avoid this. While the U.S. has tools to sanction additional leaders who try to push Ethiopia down the wrong path, I still believe a reasonable political dialogue is the right way to go.”
