Wonderful to meet the USAID country team to discuss a plan for increasing investments in Pakistani startups from US-based investors. USAID recently organised an “Invest in Pakistan” conference in Pakistan and announced over $44 Million investments. The second round of this conference will be held in the Silicon Valley in Nov.

Driving our discussion was a mutual commitment to advance programs and policies that elevate women's role in Pakistan's economic growth. I am grateful to Minister Naveed Qamar for engaging in this critical conversation to increase gender equity and women's economic empowerment.
