Carrick being sacked doesn’t guarantee we’ll do well after he’s gone but sacking him is absolutely the right decision just the same as it was with Amorim and ten Hag. He should have NEVER been appointed permanent manager and that’s a disgrace that falls on Wilcox and co.

Oh and Mbeumo is back to being a G/A magnet this season which is great to see

Bruno, Tielemans, Licha, Cunha all dropped because they haven’t been good enough Would probably drop Rashford too but need someone on the left who can stay wider and there’s no other option than him for that really. Assuming Mainoo, Shaw, Mazraoui, de Ligt etc aren’t ready

Rio is embarrassing resorting to personal insults over that comment but this situation has exposed who’s performative when it comes to “looking moral”. People have spent years abusing Shaw and others for their weight yet those same people are ridiculing Rio for being fatphobic.
