What a week it was at @RippleSwell! The 10th, my 10th and our biggest yet!
At our invite-only Platinum Summit, it was a privilege to moderate a panel with Evy Theunis of @dbsbank , Andre Portilho of @BTGPactual and @Jean-Marc Stenger of @SG_Forge , on a topic that doesn’t get discussed nearly enough: what it actually takes to get digital assets approved inside a bank.
There is plenty of conversation about the technology and regulation, but less recognition of the harder, less visible work of building a case that a board will back - and then maintaining momentum while commercial returns are still modest.
As the digital asset heads of their respective institutions, spanning Asia, LatAm and Europe, I couldn't have asked for a better panel. Between them they have taken digital assets from idea to execution in three very different markets.

Ripple and the European Credit Research Institute hosted a tokenisation summit in Brussels yesterday.
On the panels: the European Commission, Euroclear, Bank of England, Deutsche Bundesbank, French Trésor and Aviva Investors.
The discussion has moved from hype to practical use cases, and Euroclear and Banque de France are already working to move the NEU CP market onto a DLT platform.
Institutions are no longer debating whether tokenisation happens, only how.
