Hell of a job son.
I told you about these brothers. Best in the state.
I told you about this team. 13-0. First perfect season in school history.
I told you about these coaches. Strongest group of mentors in NC football.
I told you about the Dream Season - The Finale. State Champs play at Sardis Rd Cinemas. What a movie.

One moment. Cherish it. Create more. Proud of your growth. They are getting a good one.
Proud to announce my commitment on 2/5.
Grateful for every coach and program who recruited me and believed in my potential. Thankful for the relationships built along the way. Looking forward to joining a program where I can grow, compete, and contribute at a high level.
More soon.

The portal has D2 and FCS coaches positioning themselves as developmental programs instead of an opportunity to play high level ball. #imjustold
One coach says I only have $3-5k football money for you and I don’t think you’ll play till junior-senior year. (Bottom 50 rushing)
One coach says you’re in the top of our board and think you can make an immediate impact. (Top 50 rushing).

Thank you High School.
Enjoyed my final game at @qc_seniorbowl this weekend. Thank to the coaches who poured into us and for the college coaches who took the time to come by and see me.
Looking forward to my OVs in January and deciding with my family what comes next.

Keep going!
After a great conversation with Coach @Kyle_Jolly I am blessed to receive D1 opportunity as a PWO from Furman University.

2026 OL Derrin "DC" Carr - @DcDerrin
6'3, 290lbs, 3.3 GPA, 81-inch wingspan
HS: Providence Day School
NCAA ID: 2503524430
Derrin "DC" Carr is a 2-time state champion offensive lineman who is a genuine road grader. Carr is a starting lineman on the No. 2 ranked team in North Carolina and they just completed a perfect undefeated 13-0 season. Carr can be seen overwhelming some of the best defenders the state of North Carolina has to offer.
DC was named all-conference this season, allowed 0 sacks, and finished the season with over 30 pancakes.
I'm giving Derrin Carr a division 2 grade at a minimum, but coaches at all echelons should watch the tape and reach out accordingly.

As my high school career nears its end, I’m grateful for every coach who pushed me to become the player I am today. I’m blessed with multiple opportunities to play the game I love at the next level. The job isn’t done. The road to a championship starts tomorrow. Here’s my senior season film.
