Zenith Racing runners for Saturday 31st October Things can only get better (D Ream) was playing on the radio and totally apt after the last two days of injuries with Pasha and Jimbombom. Just remembered to put up today’s runners. Quincy didn’t do much so only two to go both have a great chance. Sultan going @Monmoredogs for the majestic dynamic duo @RichieTaberner @stuartforsdike is no A2 hound and Impact running for Supremo David Mullins got bogged down in terrible conditions first look around @donnydogs last week. Bet of the day. Good luck team☘️ I’m not going to say come home safe as it’s not working at present so just good luck ! @rhymeswitsnoopy @MullinsRhianne @kellygutts @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK

13.35 13.35 13.35 And then disaster 🤯 13.35 isn’t the train time from Liverpool Street Station to the Physio that Supremo has to take today to see how bad Jimbombom’s injury is, it is the mighty one’s amazing split last night @RomfordDogs What should have been a stellar night for Supremo and Zenith Racing following Ottoman’s win in the 750 and Jimbombom striding majestically half a dozen lengths clear in the Essex night air, turned into another stomach churner following on from Zenith Pasha’s bad news from the previous night @NewcastleDogs Just to put it into perspective in the 10 heats of the recent Champion Stakes at Romford no one got close to that split. In fact it’s nearly impossible to find that split time anywhere in the record books. What is annoying isn’t another gut wrenching injury to one of our best dogs, but the fact that he shouldn’t even have been at Romford as an odds on shot on a Friday night, instead should have been @HoveRacing @HoveGreyhounds in the heats of the Gold Collar which we have already outlined here. Again, Hove was happy to advertise our own Zenith Boom coming 690 miles round trip for the prestigious George Curtis and Ballyregan Bob Memorial to get numbers but didn’t give a second thought to leaving out our only entrant for the Gold Collar. Some things are left better unsaid about other things that happened this week but in all likelihood this will be our last ever visit to Hove. If it wasn’t for the respect we have for the history of greyhound racing as Ballyregan Bob remains the greatest we ever saw race for gentleman George Curtis and their memory , we would have contemplated asking Maestro Jimmy Fenwick not to bother heading down again. Not that the big man would have agreed ! We appreciate and abide by the fact that the integrity of competitions need to be upheld at all times, so Boom will be there on time for the 1st kennelling at 1230 (nicely thought out 🙄) run his race and see if a further final trip is needed next Sunday. Injuries can happen anywhere anytime but back to back nights for two of our top stars is a bit much to stomach. Get better big man and see you in 2027, you looked majestic striding to the first bend last night it’s a sight that won’t be forgotten in a while 💜 @rhymeswitsnoopy @MullinsRhianne @kellygutts @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @Dave_Clark23 @ClassicRaceDave @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Zenith Racing runners for Friday 30th October The show must go on despite Pasha’s setback. Tonight we switch our attention to @RomfordDogs where we have two long distance hounds going for Supremo David Mullins who is getting himself ready for more podium shots no doubt. He has outstanding chances not just with our hounds but plenty more this Friday evening. Ottoman kicks us off in the 750. She was outclassed in the Ballyregan Bob @HoveGreyhounds but this is more in her wheelhouse. No reason why she can’t challenge. Jimbombom goes in the 575 and should win. Supremely disappointed he didn’t make the Gold Collar heats but that’s not our decision and we understand they have to look after their own first. Anyway this is well within his capabilities to capture this race 🥇 Good luck team ☘️ come home safe 🙏 @rhymeswitsnoopy @MullinsRhianne @kellygutts @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Best laid plans 🫣 and all that….. Zenith Pasha sadly out for 4 weeks and will miss the Winter Festival of Racing @shelbournepark Every time we write something we don’t bother putting “injury permitting” as it gets boring to say it after a while. Unfortunately, injury did not permit last night @NewcastleDogs and our champ is down for 4 weeks which rules him out of a tilt back where it all stated 15 months ago at the home of greyhound racing in Dublin. We knew that wasn’t his running, albeit the winner, also trained by Maestro, Clonbrien Piper ran very well. Dublin was all that was left on the 2026 schedule so now he will take it easy for the rest of the year and be ready for the 2027 cat 1 calendar starting with the Golden Jacket @Monmoredogs in February. Fantastic to see the brilliant Fortanach Col announced today as Dublin 750 bound. Would have been a great race with him and Pasha (and some of the top Irish hounds) but alas it wasn’t to be. There will be others next year no doubt. Anyway get better champ you’ve had a hell of a 2026, from the Kirby to the Derby to the late summer exploits in the Midlands @Monmoredogs and in the short head defeat in the St Leger @DunstallDogs In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger “he’ll be back”. In the meantime the staying efforts for Zenith Racing will be headlined by Zenith Boom who is bouncing ahead of his second look round @HoveGreyhounds coming up this Sunday in the George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial. Maybe we should just say come home safe as we always do 🙏 @rhymeswitsnoopy @therealiceonfi1 @HannahFenwick13 @fenwick_melanie @jaygc18 @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @ClassicRaceDave @IanFortune @Lyonser @Drakesport @caul_barry @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Zenith Racing runners for Thursday 29th October “Enough with your Boom 💥 chatter, jabbering on all day Boom this Boom that, now the main man is back in town and I look forward to battling with that pretender soon 🥇” Zenith Pasha stating his case to Maestro on 29 Oct 2026 just before his breakfast munch this morning ! An exciting days racing with some cracking Zenith dogs going to battle @Monmoredogs and @NewcastleDogs this evening. Starting at Monmore Rocket and Scorpion go for the dynamic duo @RichieTaberner @stuartforsdike These boys are flying up the trainers championship with their incredible last few weeks. The kennel is totally on fire and you can see why when you are lucky enough to visit and see the effort and due care and attention given to the hounds whatever their ability by Richie and his team. We are blessed to be in his kennel with a few of ours, and very much looking forward to Baby Jet ✈️ starting his UK racing career, as he will join Boom and Pasha as another 6 bend headline maker, have absolutely no doubt about that. Rocket 🚀 must have a decent chance this evening. Over at the Toon Maestro Jimmy Fenwick is sending out 3 Zenith heavyweights tonight. Mikmacker is the bravest Zenith dog without doubt and never knows when he is beat. Tanju has had to deal with injuries but on his day he’s a world beater. Probably would like a berth in 2 or 3 so trap 5 probably not ideal. As for Pasha, it’s all about 4 weeks time @shelbournepark so he’s just keeping his eye in. Starting tonight at the Toon he’s taking on some very good hounds. Bookem Danno in trap 1 (@TheOracleBen does he get trap 1 every week or am I just dreaming ?) is one of our favourite non Zenith dogs to cheer on. We’ve had some mighty tussles already and here’s to another one tonight but don’t rule out the rest either. We’ve know all about the other 3 in the race and none of them are slouches be assured. But Pasha is our champion and we expect him to win every time he goes racing and it’s just that simple 💜 Good luck team ☘️ come home safe 🙏 Pasha we promise not to mention Boom 💥 till at least Saturday if you win tonight ! @RichieTaberner @stuartforsdike @therealiceonfi1 @fenwick_melanie @HannahFenwick13 @jaygc18 @rhymeswitsnoopy @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @ClassicRaceDave @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Zenith Boom 💥 drifting for some reason ? After missing out on Zenith Pasha to win the St Leger at 16/1 by a short head but picking up the place money for a healthy profit, one cannot resist the 8/1 1/4 1,2,3 Zenith Boom which has drifted from 6/1 before the first round, despite the fact he ran so well without a look around @HoveGreyhounds last Sunday. He was 2/1 15 mins before the race for Sundays first round and somehow drifted to 9/1 before the off. Remarkable ! He’s again in a hard heat this weekend but we believe it’s going to take a 44.25 to win the event. Boom can do that, anyone else ? We will see over the next two weeks. Bring it on 💪🏼

Zenith Racing runner for Tuesday 27th Oct Hero is back after a long absence 💜@Monmoredogs After getting injured in June having had a stellar first half of the year winning 8 races, we weren’t sure if we would ever see Hero back on the track but all the care and attention was given to him brilliantly by Kim Billingham-Hine and her team. We don’t know if we are going to get the same hound back but here’s to trying anyway. Thank you Kim and welcome back Hero

Boom shake shake shake the room 💥 that’s job done see you next week. A massive thank you to Miss Maestro Hannah Fenwick for doing the impossible yesterday and driving our lad 690 miles round trip. That’s simply beyond the call of duty 🙏 but we won’t forget it. So very nearly a win yesterday @HoveRacing for Zenith Boom but just outlasted by super bitch Vhagar over a track and distance he’s never raced over before. In fact it’s easy to forget that Boom has only had 3, 6 bend races to date, and a couple of trials unofficially breaking the track record over 706m at Newcastle. He’s gone from 660 m Sheffield (never again it’s so tight round there) to 680 m Nottingham (much more like it) and then the real test of 740 m Hove yesterday. Add in the 690 mile round trip and the fact that he’s Sept 24 and hasn’t had a race in 3 weeks, so can’t be much happier with yesterday’s effort. What can we expect next week ? Amazingly he’s somehow drifted in the ante post market from 6/1 to 8/1 (he drifted in pre race from 2/1 to 9/1 too !) and now surely rates a fantastic bet. Looking at the times he’s left at least 20 spots to the winning line where he clocked a moderate 16.80. We would expect at least 16.60 if not even better and we think even though he was the second fastest home with 27.83 there’s at least 20 spots that way too, which means potentially expect a 40 spot improvement from his 44.63 yesterday, so the author believes he can do a 44.25 moving forward next week or in the final if he is lucky enough to get there. Teddies run was incredible with a 16.42 out but only a 28.11 home to finish on 44.53. She will improve no doubt too as it was her first look at this extended 6 bends. Ante Post favourite Vhagar ran really well all credit to her. Candolim Typhoon also running very well at present. But we wouldn’t swap ours for anything left in the 3 semi finals. Bring on Sunday 🚀 @therealiceonfi1 @fenwick_melanie @HannahFenwick13 @jaygc18 @BeamingKennels @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Zenith Racing runners for Sunday 25th October Anyone spotted Miss Maestro and Zenith Boom rolling from North to South so far this morning ? This may be the bravest/most foolish thing we’ve been a part of in over 40 years of ownership and we aren’t even driving ! Miss Maestro Hannah Fenwick, hats off to you young lady, for embarking on a journey not even seasoned truckers would relish ! The author has become an expert ferrying a horse trailer all around the Uk and Ireland and knows what it takes to get from a to b (a to z in this instance !) and the sat nav gives the time to destination at a maximum speed which is not even legal with animals on board. This 345 mile journey from the Toon to Hove cant be far short of 7-8 hours. Add the storm in on top, so this just shows the willingness of the Fenwicks to go that extra few hundred miles in search of another Cat 1 victory. Thank you Miss Maestro let’s hope it’s a worthwhile journey. I find a decent playlist and plenty of appropriate munch and liquids passes the time. So what’s all this about Boom then ? Is he any good ? You better believe he is. Today he is up against the marathon car journey, the fact that he’s never been around Hove, the fact that he’s only had 2 six bend races and he’s in with 3 other top top dogs. All that aside as Maestro always says, we need a top three finish today. If he is lucky enough to qualify today he will come on 6-8 lengths for the run for sure. Others have been ducking taking him on, so he’s been left with breaking track records unofficially whilst waiting for a race. Nottingham 680m should have gone in the race he was in but for a ridiculously short hare, and Newcastle 706m was well and truly dispatched last week, albeit in a trial. He’s only 2 years old so we want to gradually build up the distance, but over time we think he can be competitive in the extreme 8 bend races. This is just the hors d’oeuvre for his main 2026 target being the 850 yd at the Winter Racing Festival @shelbournepark on Nov 28th, so whatever he does @HoveGreyhounds is a bonus. People are asking is 6/1 value ? 16/1 Zenith Pasha each way for the St Leger remains the best bet of the year despite his short head defeat in the final. This 6/1 can go one of two ways. He qualifies today step 1 accomplished. The semi is only two to qualify unlike the St Leger so that’s a disadvantage but he can’t be in a harder semi final than today’s race with the outright favourite Vhagar, the useful Bella Bullet and even the dangerous Ballymac Madgie, so the semi will hold no fears. If he runs the way we know he can and gets to the final he will start favourite that’s our prediction. But hurdle 1 is to get there and then qualify in the first three and see the semi final draw after that. Naturally, shorter travelling distances to the midlands etc in weeks and months to come will be a massive advantage, let’s see if this is a bridge too far for one so young. It will be a massive honour to be in the final of the Ballyregan Bob, if we get there, who still is the best dog the author has seen live. A quick word on Ottoman who goes in heat 1. She has loved her two visits to Hove over 500 and 695 where she came second and third. Another tough heat but she could sneak a qualification. Final word on Jimbombom’s omission from the Gold Collar @HoveRacing looking through the card last night only 6 dogs have gone faster than his 29.19 effort albeit a few haven’t run at Hove but still his omission is well and truly noted for the future. Good luck team ☘️come home safe 🙏 (will be tomorrow in Boom’s case 🫣where’s that helicopter when you need it most ? ) @therealiceonfi1 @fenwick_melanie @HannahFenwick13 @jaygc18 @rhymeswitsnoopy @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Hey Miki you’re so fine you’re so fine you blow my mind hey Miki 💥🚀🥇💪🏼 Ok it’s the wrong artist as Mikmacker is named after soul crooner Michael McDonald and not Toni Basil who hit us with that annoyingly catchy tune in 1981 ! Zenith Mikmacker can we bottle up that will to win and give it to some of our other hounds ? That’s his 12th win in 32 starts at an extraordinary 37.5% win rate. Miki has the heart of a lion. He confused the hell out of the commentator too, who obviously was unaware that he doesn’t get beat when in front at the second bend, as the favourite loomed large at the third bend and Miki’s running style going wide off the last bend before powering home also added to the deceptive angle that the favourite had caught him. Not this week not ever Mr Commentator ! Well done Miki well done Jay (Maestro is on holiday but was caught peeking 👀 at his phone under the table at dinner ! ) Onwards and upwards and let’s get that song quickly out of our head on a Friday morning 🫣 @therealiceonfi1 @HannahFenwick13 @fenwick_melanie @jaygc18 @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK

Zenith Jimbombom not worthy of a place in the 36 for the Gold Collar @HoveRacing Not here to cast doubt on any of the 36 that got in but there are plenty that wouldn’t be close to his times but what’s done is done and duly noted. Best of luck to all that got in. Supremo will find somewhere else to head no doubt in the future. Well done lad two wins in 10 days round Romford 575 has made it a good month. @rhymeswitsnoopy @MullinsRhianne @kellygutts @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK

Better get some coffee and figure out how many of the Gold Collar runners have done a better time round @HoveGreyhounds @HoveRacing than Zenith Jimbombom. Oh hes also the fastest dog @RomfordDogs this year wirh a 23.43, oh and he won tonight in a prep race for Sunday. But hes not good enough eh ? Yet you are happy to advertise Zenith Boom's participation and his 690 mile round trip today in the paper to attract entries. Poor showing to be honest. Will reconsider future entrants at Hove but more on this tomorrow. @JimCreminRP @Hobbsy67 @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Zenith Racing runners for Wednesday 21st October It’s the Jimbombom twins in the last race 🫣 sorry trap 2 should be Ottoman ! Three go for Supremo David Mullins @RomfordDogs tonight. Our Old Lady Angel first. She always runs well. Just doesn’t win enough. But she’s in with a shout tonight. Our duo in the 4 dog race in the last seem to be not fancied at all. Jimbombom you simply can’t rule out of equations if he gets a move on early. This hound is still the fastest round Romford 400m this year with his astonishing 23.43 at the start of the year. Ottoman will make her way round all in good time as she prepares for the weekend and the Ballyregan Bob @HoveGreyhounds luckily she hasn’t got as far to go as Boom 💥!! Good luck team ☘️ come home safe 🙏 @rhymeswitsnoopy @MullinsRhianne @kellygutts @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @GreyhoundNewsUK

Cats out the bag apparently 🫣 Thanks @Dave_Clark23 you beat us to the punch!! We’ve been keeping Zenith Boom’s next participation under wraps since his record breaking trial @NewcastleDogs last Thursday. The author is only interested in a return to @shelbournepark for the Winter Night of Stars with Pasha 750yd and Boom 850yd, but after the news that Pasha’s older sister and short head conqueror in the St Leger, Droopys Flare is unlikely to be seen until 2027 (all the best with her recovery she’s a super bitch) Maestro Jimmy Fenwick has decided to pull out all the stops and send Boom to the Ballyregan Bob @HoveGreyhounds this weekend. If he wins it, it’s only fitting that Ballyregan Bobs jacket from the Scurlogue Champ John Power Showdown at Wembley in 1985 which is front and centre in our office heads to the Toon. A massive thanks to the owners of Newcastle United the Maestros beloved club, for the offer of the club helicopter 🚁 to get Boom to Hove. Ownership goes that extra mile at the Toon to appease their most ardent fans, especially taking into consideration the start that the Black and White army have made this season. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get permission to land the chopper in the centre of the track making it a non runner. We did call Arsenal legend and hound enthusiast Liam Brady who lives down the road to see if we could land on his lawn but the potential damage to his geraniums was all too much for Liam ! Sooooo, unfortunately, it’s back to conventional travel for Boom and Miss Maestro Hannah who has undertaken the thankless task of driving 345 miles one way 🫣 to get Boom into the traps. We can’t say enough about the incredible dedication of the Fenwick family to literally go the extra mile for their dogs and owners in search of silverware (well we hope it’s silverware not plexiglass !) Hats off to them and what odds they are right at the top of the Trainers Championship in 2027 ? There’s a bit of a team being readied for an all out assault on the title that’s for sure. Anyway, let’s see who will be our adversaries on Sunday, right now only know of the champion bitch Vhagar and our own Ottoman being entered so far but won’t be long to wait to see what we are up against. Long live the Hidez suit for Boom and plenty of coffee for Miss Maestro. See you Sunday 💥💪🏼🚀🥇 @therealiceonfi1 @HannahFenwick13 @fenwick_melanie @jaygc18 @LewisClark1999 @ClassicRaceDave @BeamingKennels @JimCreminRP @Hobbsy67 @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing

Weekend Round Up Impact delivers at Romford. Pasha has a decent blow out round Sheffield Zenith Impact back on the score board with a trap to line victory on Friday night @RomfordDogs for Supremo David Mullins. Zenith Pasha was always up against it over the wrong distance and very decent 4 bend dogs yesterday @Owlerton_Racing for Maestro Jimmy Fenwick but it did the desired job as he had his spin with more suitable races to come in the next couple of weeks @donnydogs and @DunstallDogs before we head to Dublin @shelbournepark Well done Evie well done Pasha 💥💜 @rhymeswitsnoopy @MullinsRhianne @kellygutts @therealiceonfi1 @HannahFenwick13 @fenwick_melanie @jaygc18 @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @GreyhoundNewsUK

Zenith Racing runner for Sunday 18th October Our pride and joy Zenith Pasha makes an appearance @Owlerton_Racing for Maestro Jimmy Fenwick this afternoon against top Cat 1, 4 bend finalists over an inadequate 500m but that’s all we could find for him for this week, to keep his eye in. But don’t worry he’s already beaten the majestic Holding Blaze trained by our friend @RichieTaberner around this 500m so Pasha’s no slouch over 4 bends. Remember he won a round of the Kirby @LimkGreyhound and then a 4 length second to Ballymac Duffle’s record breaking run 28.37 in the first round of the Derby @TowcesterOffice so if it has to be 500m then so be it. All roads lead to 750yd @shelbournepark for the Winter Racing Festival on November 28th when Pasha will be joined by Zenith Boom 850 yd in the quest for 2 wins against the best Ireland can offer. Anyway it’s Sheffield first, and luckily the longer distance races are coming in the next couple of weeks which will be more to Pasha’s liking. Good luck lad ☘️ come home safe 🙏 You absolute beauty 💜 @therealiceonfi1 @HannahFenwick13 @fenwick_melanie @jaygc18 @rhymeswitsnoopy @Hobbsy67 @JimCreminRP @DaniVJackson @GreyhoundNewsUK @RPGreyhounds @PremGreyRacing
