Excited to introduce our hackathon project from @MiamiHackWeek
🍎🧠 AI.TA - AI Teaching Assistant 🧠🍎
Tell your TA what lesson you're planning and it instantly generates lesson plans, google slides, quizzes, and even an audio presentation of the content. Let's dig in 👇

Codebases are going to start looking like optimized topology 3d prints
When AI is better at math than humans it also becomes better at algorithm & codebase design
At that point the system and delivering quality software doesn’t require human understanding to exist in the actual code layer.
Only needs to be understood by humans at the high level of passing testing, verification, vibe checks and being understandable when queried via AI in the rare case one need to dive deeper.
The cafe game in Seoul is impressive. Beautiful, 2 and 3 story cafes open until 10, 11 or even midnight all throughout the city… always packed!
Heaven for reading, writing, and getting work done.
Somewhat confusingly, everyone’s always eating cake and desserts 😂
We built an in-house version of this months ago and it’s been a game changer for our team - a shared memory that every agent
- clones before kicking off a task
- references through the task
- edits through / after the task (auto-push is on according to strict editing and taxonomical rules)
And then asynchronously cleans and generates new knowledge through what we call our “Archivist”
Excited to see how Cognition’s compares to ours
Introducing Dreaming: Across sessions, Devin builds a memory graph of how you like to work
At night Devin self-improves its memory to remove stale records and discover latent information
We are creating an OSS standard called Agent Memory Repo: cognition.com/agent-memory-r…

I'm probably late to the game here.... but Apple's vision kit classifier is bananas. On my M3 Pro, it scores 1300+ labels on 100 images in 1.1 seconds. 11ms per image to score 1300+ attributes 🤯
AI models produce uninspired designs - even Opus 5.5, despite having made huge strides, still creates relatively bland designs. It can also struggle to explore truly novel ideas when writing, coding, brainstorming, etc.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been using a new /exploration skill that’s made an enormous difference with a relatively simple set of changes. The skill is, first and foremost, for doing wide, creative explorations... something I find these models still struggle with.
It has three critical components:
(1) a random string generation script used to generate seeds for each exploration. It uses each seed string to draw inspiration for the task at hand. (a subset of the string might influence the color palette, for example)
(2) a set of reference docs that tell the model how to read the seed based on the type of task (design work, writing, marketing campaign generation, etc)
(3) instructions for leveraging the @fal mcp when exploring visual/audio concepts
You can see a set of example designs below generated with and without the /exploration skill using this single prompt: "create 4 landing landing page concepts for a personal AI assistant called Nova"
While you can't fully appreciate it from the static images (check the link), several examples with the /exploration skill include videos and realistic images without me ever prompting the model to include them. And the model knowing it has access to videos and any style of image enables it to explore a wider variety of directions. Overall, they end up being far more interesting takes.
Sharing the skill here in case it's helpful for you all! Give it a spin! 👇
OpenAI launches its personal agents, Dots, along with a multi-player collaboration/docs, Space!
You only get one dot for now, but it has access to it's own desktop/browser, it has access to all your chatgpt integrations and they can text and call you!
Space is an interactive document that lets you collaborate with other humans and dots! Text, charts, images, etc.... Notion should be terrified!
Everyone who invested in Instincts $10bn round is going to be ripping their hair out during OpenAIs DevDay today
Assuming your models have appropriate access to your tooling and a large enough token budget, once you’ve expressed your intent to them clearly, your job is really just managing risk.
I couldn’t disagree more with the idea that personal agents “dont need a new[separate] app” for you to interface with them. That may seem reasonable *today*, but soon I think it’ll be clear this is completely non-sensical. These things will be building completely dynamic UIs on the fly and need to leverage your local device compute to render complex, hyper responsive interfaces. Texting back and forth or even having an audio conversation is far from optimal for coordinating many, many tasks.
My conversation with Noah Shinn (@noahrshinn), founder of Instinct.
Noah is building a personal AI assistant. It's still invite only, has spent nothing on marketing, and is growing roughly 10% A DAY.
This is his first long conversation about the company.
We discuss:
- Why Instinct doesn't have an app
- Buying compute months ahead of exponential demand
- How users learn to trust it with a credit card
- Safety and security
- Agents coordinating with other people's agents
- Instinct's business model
- Apps built on consumer inertia
- and more
Enjoy!
