@JohnEDeaton1 — THE D’CENT WALLET COMMUNITY NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION. For nearly two weeks, affected D’CENT users have been asking for answers. Public awareness has been nowhere near where it should be. Many influencers who promoted these wallets have been remarkably quiet, while affected customers continue asking what happened, what is being done, and whether there will be a path toward recovery. ENOUGH WAITING. IT’S TIME TO TAKE ACTION. I have now had roughly 500 people contact me who are interested in exploring a potential class action or other collective legal action. Many tell me they have already filed reports with the FBI’s IC3. Today I emailed @JohnEDeaton1 asking whether he would be willing to examine what happened and determine whether there may be a viable legal case—and, if so, whether he would consider representing this growing group of affected users. We’re not asking anyone to prejudge the case. WE’RE ASKING SOMEONE QUALIFIED TO LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE. This also needs to include IoTrust Co., Ltd., the South Korean company behind D’CENT Wallet. We want transparency about what happened, recovery efforts, and whether any applicable cyber, liability or other insurance coverage exists.
