as a Japanese person, I donโt see anything wrong with how they portray him.
fandom has always had cute depictions of male characters. heโs fictional after all. Being muscular and cool doesnโt mean he canโt be cute too.โ
this is something ive been feeling for a long time & speaking about privately and id like to bring it to main bc some of the way you guys talk about asian people and characters is racist and being asian in a fandom with an asian lead i feel its important to address. and im not really interested in arguing with anyone about this esp cuz majority of you who do it or defend it are not asian yourself so just remember speaking over asian people and deciding what is racist for them is also wrong. and you can argue with the wall! thanks everyone for listening. ๐ซถ๐ฝ๐ฐ๐

when AO3 is back Iโm just gonna immediately run to my favourite fic writers and leave a comment under their works "thank god I can read it again, thank you for existing"
