This day and hour last year, I was introduced on a global stage at @Bayer Youth Ag Summit as a budding analyst from Nigeria using data to build @AgroLinking π
I'm grateful for the growth, and the network I've had access to since then.

The highest price is not always the best market.
A Kano farmer selling white maize: Lagos pays the most at N443 per kg, but after N127 freight it nets just N315. Rivers pays N426, and after N54 freight it nets N372.
That is what the Agrolinking Advisor does.
Farmer: find the best market to sell, after transport.
Buyer: check if the price you are being asked is fair.
Ask: type a state and a commodity, get today's price.

Africa has the production and the markets. The missing piece is the infrastructure that connects the two with trust. Thatβs what weβre building at @AgroLinking, the digital trust and trade infrastructure for Africa by 2030.

Technology adoption doesnβt happen because you deploy a tool. It happens when communities take ownership.
Across the rural communities where we operate, weβre not just deploying AgTrail and walking away.
Weβre walking the farms with farmers and training them. Showing them how to use the technology, capture data, and build digital records for their own farms and then watching that knowledge move from farmer to farmer.
That matters because sustainable adoption cannot depend on an external team showing up every time.
We donβt want to come into a community, trace one tonne, collect some data, and leave.
We want the community to own the system.
And that is already beginning to happen across the states where we operate.
Farmers weβve trained are now using AgTrail themselves, and some are going further, onboarding and recording data for other farmers around them.
That is the difference between technology deployment and technology adoption.
When communities become part of the infrastructure, the technology doesnβt just reach farmers.
It spreads through them.
AgTrail is being built not just for agricultural communities, but with them.
π± One farmer trained.
π± One record captured.
π€ One community empowered.
π A traceable food system that can scale.

Great great things we are doing
Our goal @getSureFood over the next four months is to scale to 500 informal food vendors across Kaduna and Kano States.
In our first four months, we grew from 3 to 100+ vendors, expanded our offering from 1 to 6+ products, and achieved an average ticket size of ~$100 per vendor,
