So, @BeerBicepsGuy didn’t disclose this while endorsing the fancy toy made for the uber-rich. @theliverdoc dug up this information and quoted an @Inc42 report. And, as you can see in the graphic below, Raj Shamani is also listed among Temple’s angel investors. So, is this why Mr Goyal appeared wearing Temple during his podcast with Shamani? Isn’t there a potential conflict of interest here that people should have been made aware of? Ethical standards seem to have gone for a toss. The influencer economy is increasingly about making obscene amounts of money, selling YouTube courses (that’s fine) and then using that money to make even more through questionable practices.
Twitter calls Deepinder Goyal's Temple unscientific. None of us have enough information to say that yet. He's put in $20 million of his own money, and Harvard and Boston University scientists are on the advisory board. An Indian entrepreneur is trying something new out in the world, and we need to support him.

when I read tweets like this that I remember I have aphantasia as well.
I have aphantasia. The other day I was describing it to my wife and she was like "wdym see images in your head it's just a metaphor you dum dum". Well, this is how she learned she has aphantasia as well. It's been three days and she's interrogating all our friends and extended family and still can't get over the fact that people are able to just close their eyes and see images. She's an artist an a graphic designer btw

To put this in perspective, this is a bit longer than the distance between Chennai and Delhi by rail. Imagine doing Chennai to Delhi by overnight train! Get in at Central at 10 pm, and get down at Nizamuddin at 8 am. How convenient would that be.
All aboard the world's fastest sleeper train! This is a China Railways CR400AF-AE taking me from Beijing to Hong Kong-West Kowloon covering the 2250km in 10 hours and 19 minutes. We will hit top speeds of 350km/h on this trip! 🇨🇳

After a bloody clash that lasted 7 days and 7 nights Ram defeated Ravan and reunited with his beloved Sita. Heading home to Ayodhya, he made a pit stop at Sivakasi and taught them how to make firecrackers from a tutorial on YouTube he’d downloaded. Before leaving he told the grateful traders, Mitron, if you want to make profits, employ kids in your factories, pay them peanuts, keep working conditions unsafe and exploit the hell out of them. Zealots claiming to be devout Hindus but with zero understanding of Hinduism will take care of marketing.

One of my favorite quotes (paraphrased) "Heinrich Schliemann did more damage to the walls of Troy in 10 minutes than what Agamemnon and the Achaeans did in 10 years." - Kenneth W. Harl
He then proceeded to irreparably destroy Troy by excavating without a permit using dynamite and digging directly through the city thinking Homeric Troy must be at the bottom. Troy was actually the mound itself, the layers he just plowed through, and not underneath the mound.

The Aarey Forest is the Private Property of the Government -CM Fadnavis Sept 2019
We are in that phase currently where the establishment logic appears to be something like this: 1) Government owns Land, Assets 2) I am the Government 3) So - I own the Land, Assets 4) I can do anything I want with it

The terrorist's name is Michał Oksiński. He has known neo-Nazi sympatheis. There is no tragedy that these motherfuckers won't try to exploit for their anti-immigrant agenda.
There was just a terrorist attack in Krakow Poland and five people were killed. Donald Tusk has been allowing migrants into Poland covertly. The Left wingers have recently been getting very bold there. We don’t know if it was a migrant or a Leftist yet, but we know this is NOT normal for Poland. This is one of the worst things I’ve ever heard. We’ve even lost Poland.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Polish police have confirmed that the perpetrator is Polish. According to reporters, he is about 20 years old. x.com/kwpkrakow/stat…

The way a serious news organization handles this is by firing the reporter and every editor, manager, etc. who had a hand in producing this video. Then it does some serious soul-searching about how such an embarrassing, racist, conspicuous lie was allowed to get published at all.
She made a mistake. She corrected it. Anyone who watched the video though would know his speech was in English because it was clipped. Meanwhile, the dog pile was trying to cancel Maya, not the other way around.

On one hand, Priyanka Gandhi proudly dons Palestine tote bags. And on the other hand, state governments led by her party buy Israeli surveillance tech. Make it make sense?
Must read 👇🏻 Agencies that have bought or in the process of buying Israeli forensic tool:

Ok. WHUT. We need to talk about this before I start screaming again. No. I'm going to start screaming again. THIS IS NOT OKAY. WHAT DO YOU MEAN SOMEONE TESTED HIS ENVIRONMENT WITHOUT HIS EXPRESS PERMISSION, AN NDA, A CONTRACT AND A SCOPING CALL. I keep using those three words this week deliberately in reference to these types of events that have been occurring because those are the BARE MINIMUM that is needed before this type of activity can occur and it NOT BE AN ACTUAL CRIME. I don't know how many more ways I have to say this. ANTHROPIC IS DOG SHIT. THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ANOTHER THIRD PARTY ACCESS YOUR DATA WITHOUT YOUR EXPRESS CONSENT. YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY FUCKING SUE THEM. PLEASE DO. THEY WERE SMART ENOUGH TO INCLUDE THE WORD UNAUTHORIZED BECAUSE IT ABSOLUTELY WAS AND IT'S STILL NOT OKAY. AND THEY NEED TO TELL YOU WHO ACCESSED YOUR DATA. IT CANNOT BE IN THE EMAIL. IT NEEDS TO BE SHOWN TO YOU IN THE ACTUAL FUCKING LOGS. IT'S NOT A TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT TYPE SITUATION ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE PII IN THAT ENVIRONMENT AND IT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU. END OF DISCUSSION. HOLY SHIT. 😳
What actual f*ck @DarioAmodei / @boris / @TheAmolAvasare Let me get this straight - I get this email telling me: 1. A cybersecurity "research" company gets into your internal systems while... *checks notes* "conducting a security testing exercise on its own initiative and without our authorisation" 2. You "cannot confirm whether any particular person’s information was viewed," then in the same email say "we have no reason to believe you are at heightened risk." 3. You also try to reassure by saying "the cybersecurity firm has certified in writing that it has deleted the accessed data and will not use it." Translation - they pinky promised they deleted everything they gained unauthorised access to. I've been hacking companies for 15+ years, so let me spell it out. Accessing systems without authorisation has a name -hacking. Calling it a "security testing exercise" doesn't change that. Honestly, the access itself doesn't bother me much. The irony does. I’ve spent over $50k on API credits in the last six months and contributing to CVP by accepting logging. On top of that, I've reached out to your teams to collaborate on security research (actual research - not the kind that has you send out privacy notices to your customers) and heard nothing. I'm getting deeply unserious security vibes and considering moving all my (and my clients) token spend to @OpenAI if I don't see material change here.

Ok, I didn’t expect a story time on Saturday, but here we go. What I’m about to write is TRUE. It is insane, stupid, and very dumb, but it is true. Earlier today Donald J Trump, the p[resident of the United States, posted that he had offered the job of Press Secretary to Dana White. Well, it was the wrong Dana White… 🧵

How is this misleading @MEAFactCheck? Is it normal to set up calls with the White House through a Lobby Firm? All former diplomats say Lobby firms usually facilitate work on the Hill- bilateral ties are dealt with by officials.
This post is misleading. It is a normal practice in the US for Embassies and other entities to hire a lobby firm. Indian Embassy in Washington DC has hired such firms since 1948. These details are available in the public domain. In so far the filing done by Mercury Public Affairs LLC is concerned, it clearly mentions that they only disseminated the post on X.

Fuck Spotify
Spotify just announced a feature that could either save the music industry or destroy it. Starting as early as Q1 2027, Spotify Premium subscribers will be able to use AI to transform any participating artist’s song into a completely different version. Turn a folk ballad into a dance track. Make a hip-hop song sound acoustic. Generate a cover where one artist’s voice performs another artist’s song. Remix a pop hit into lo-fi study music. Create the version of your favorite song that only existed in your head until now. The remixes will be uploaded directly to Spotify. They’ll appear in playlists. They’ll count toward the original song’s chart position. And most importantly the original artist will earn royalties every time someone listens to a fan-created remix of their work. Spotify has already signed a landmark licensing deal with Universal Music Group the world’s largest record label. Negotiations with Sony Music and Warner Music are ongoing. The feature will cost an additional $4–$5/month on top of Spotify Premium. And analysts project 7–8% of American subscribers will adopt it by 2028. This is not Suno or Udio generating music from text prompts. This is fans remixing real songs by real artists with the artists’ permission, on the world’s largest streaming platform, with royalties flowing back to the creators. A music industry analyst who’s covered streaming economics for 15 years told her team something after reading the licensing agreement that reframed how she understood the future of recorded music. “Spotify just turned 640 million listeners into 640 million potential remixers. The question isn’t whether people will use it they will. The question is whether paying artists for fan remixes solves the economics of streaming or creates a world where the original recording is worth less than the infinite remixes generated from it.” Here’s what Spotify’s AI remix feature actually is, who wins, who loses, and why this might be the most consequential decision in the music industry since the launch of streaming itself 🧵
