Adrenal incidentalomas show up on a growing share of CT scans, and most of them are harmless. The hard part is knowing which ones are not.
On this episode of BackTable Urology, Drs. Gina Badalato (@gmbadalato), Chris Anderson (@cbanderson2014), and Ben Ristau (@benristau) discuss a case-based framework for the adrenal mass: non-contrast Hounsfield units, the hormonal workup every patient needs, size thresholds for resection, and why routine biopsy is almost never the answer.

We’re excited to see Charles Peyton, M.D., featured on the BackTable Urology Podcast!
@ccp1983 @UABHeersink @_backtableUro
Recurrent bladder cancer is rarely as simple as treating the next tumor. Every recurrence raises a new decision: watch, treat in the office, or head back to the OR?
On this episode of the BackTable Urology Podcast, Dr. Charles Peyton (@ccp1983) joins Dr. Ruchika Talwar (@RuchikaTalwarMD) to discuss the evolving management of recurrent low-grade, intermediate-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. They cover everything from office-based management and repeat TURBTs to patient-reported outcomes, recurrence patterns, and the role of newer therapies like UGN-102. Throughout the discussion, one message remains clear: caring for recurrent NMIBC isn't just about treating the next tumor. It's about understanding the patient, the disease, and the decisions that shape long-term care.

You’ll definitely want to listen to this one with @DrRanaMcKay UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center and @EAntonarakis Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota
I really enjoyed this one. One recurring theme, germline and somatic testing must be done to optimally manage our patients with advanced prostate cancer.
Also nice discussion on the transition from HSPC/CRPC to APMS/APMR in PCWG4.

With PARP now moving into upfront mAPMN/S (metastatic Androgen Pathway Modulator Naive or Sensitive)setting - TALAPRO3, AMPLITUDE
these insights by @AzadOncology @neerajaiims are so relevant. The first 3-4m of starting PARP are so crucial in monitoring anemia, and nadir of counts. Also, don’t forget that the prostate cancer itself can cause anemia, and reducing dose too early might be the wrong move.
What’s the most critical period for patients on PARP inhibitors? Dr. Alan Tan, Dr. Neeraj Agarwal and Dr. Arun Azad explain the importance of tailoring doses and close monitoring for hematological toxicity. Their discussion provides actionable guidance for clinicians.
