I think I am beginning to understand why Bobi Wine has people like Eddy Mutwe, Achileo, Kivumbi, Sir Dan Magic, Selector Davie and a few other longtime friends around him. If you interact with these people, you quickly notice that they share certain qualities: they are genuine, incorruptible, loyal, content with who they are, straightforward and, above all, understanding.
They are not people who need to pretend to be something they are not. There is a certain consistency between what they say, what they believe and how they conduct themselves. And now I am beginning to understand why, during the 2026 election period, there seemed to be so much effort directed at separating Bobi Wine from some of the people around him.
There are others who, in my observation, share these qualities: Olivia Lutaaya, High Tower, Bobi Giant and Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro et al.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that all of those people have been at the receiving end of elitist attacks and ridicule seemingly because of their loyalty to Bobi Wine that is rooted in shared principles rather than personal benefits.
It’s no coincidence that with the exception of Mufumbiro, none of them has sought a political office!

BREAKING: Afande Herbert Matanda Mabonga makes explosive allegations about the 2021 shooting of Gen. Katumba Wamala.
While speaking to Comrade Mordecai Murrisa on Mordecai Murrisa Live, Afande Herbert Matanda Mabonga allegedly claimed that the June 1, 2021 shooting of Gen. Katumba Wamala was an inside job intended to eliminate him.
According to Mabonga, Katumba was considered influential and respected within the military and was allegedly viewed as a threat to the Muhoozi succession project. He further alleged that the operation was assigned to SFC commandos, although the regime subsequently blamed ADF rebels.
We all remember that the attack claimed the lives of Katumba’s daughter, Brenda Nantongo, and his driver, Haruna Kayondo, while the General survived.
Mabonga also made serious allegations concerning the former IGP, Gen. Paul Lokech, claiming that he had made efforts to investigate the attack and apprehend those involved, including alleged members of the SFC. He suggested that Lokech’s efforts to expose those behind the operation may have contributed to his subsequent death in August 2021, which authorities described as resulting from a blood clot.
Furthermore, Mabonga alleged that some of the commandos who failed to execute the mission were later killed.

In Uganda, your wealth seems to end at your gate! So, is this a garden or a public road?

I understood you, "estranged" can be derogatory depending on the tone and intentions of the user. Your tone to our @mkainerugaba of late has not been cordial.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs teaches us that people must have their basic physiological needs met before they can meaningfully concern themselves with higher level needs.
How do you explain the importance of wildlife conservation to the average Nigerian who is hungry, struggling to survive and has little or no understanding of conservation?
Foreign Man Pays Men Attempting to Sell Sea Turtle Along Road Near Eko Hotel, Lagos, and Returns It to the Sea
"Today, I witnessed something that genuinely broke my heart but also restored a little of my faith in humanity.
While leaving Eko Hotel, Lagos State, I saw some men trying to sell a sea turtle in the middle of the road as though it were an ordinary item of trade.
A foreign man stopped and tried everything possible to stop them. He shouted, pleaded and appealed to the people around him, including the uniformed police officers present, to understand that what they were doing was wrong.
Sadly, it seemed his voice was the only one speaking up for a creature that couldn't speak for itself.
However, he refused to give up. He eventually paid the men for the turtle, not to own it but to give it another chance at life.
With the assistance of a police van, the turtle was taken back to the sea and released into its natural habitat."

Where legends begin.
@ElephantsRugby was my first rugby home and @elgonwolvesrfc was Sydney Gongodyo's. Busamaga rugby grounds was our first training ground and it shaped us both before the road led us to @piratesrugbyUG.
On Saturday, that road came full circle. Playing at home, the Elephants took on the best side in the Country and the defending Uganda Cup champions. They were written off before kickoff yet they tackled with heart, defended with pride and made Pirates earn every inch. The pride of Mbale City.....boys, you did our town proud.
Both teams also paused to honour a son of the game who gave everything to @UgandaRugby, from the land of the brave to the Pirates' shores.
Mbale made us brothers before rugby made us teammates. Gone, but never forgotten!
Rest well Guga, Rest well No. 7. 🙏🏾❤️

Most Ugandan school children are trained to be submissive. Their natural curiosity is beaten out of them by 10. Ugandan homes and schools produce children who can pass exams but have very limited capacity for thinking creatively and an unhealthy fear for questioning authority.

The music business is a very cutthroat industry that requires a crazy amount of resilience. Most keyboard warriors who sit and tell artists what to do all day wouldn’t even survive a day doing this work.

The conversation is getting tired. Stop wasting time drafting contracts and make 15s rugby as financially rewarding and commercially attractive as 7s.
Not everyone is playing purely for the love of the game, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If you love the game so much, build structures that make it sustainable for the people playing it. As things stand, rugby in Kenya is a foundational stepping stone to whatever path players eventually choose to take. We need to make it a destination, not just a stepping stone.
For a contract to have that much autonomy over a sportsman’s life is to dictate his destination. If you’re going to tie someone down and take away their freedom to choose their own path, then you have a responsibility to compensate them for the journey you’re demanding they take. You cannot demand someone’s future without investing in it.

This is the same pattern here, @UgandaRugby has also relied on short-term, performance-based contracts that prioritise 7's availability while 15's stay underfunded and less commercially attractive.
Players end up juggling day jobs or treating rugby as a temporary step rather than a sustainable career.
The real fix isn’t tighter contracts that restrict 15's play but rather building proper commercial structures so both codes can pay players well enough that exclusivity becomes unnecessary.
Until unions invest in making 15's a viable destination (not just a feeder or calendar filler), these restrictive deals will keep causing the same friction!

I’m officially getting into consultancy because how was I paid this much for just sharing my mind earlier today?
So, from now on let’s agree that I’m an Audio Expert and I’ll be providing support on tracks, events, bars and the overall sound experience.

Three-gun salute for neglected hero: UPDF honors pioneer aircraft engineer, top blood donor.
Educated at Kisubi College before proceeding to Lincoln and Colwell University in the UK, Capt (rtd) John Baptist Egessa graduated as one of Uganda's first aeronautical engineers.
His burial stood in stark contrast to the tragic realities of his final years, spent in extreme poverty and neglect despite decades of meritorious public service.
