From the final moments of the duel with Feyd, to Paul’s conversation with the Emperor, there is a subtle sound of waves crashing on a beach in the background. IMO this is the films way of saying that paradise is coming, and is reminiscent of the rain ending from Dune (1984). 🌊

I saw Dune: Part Two at a private studio screening, and it is gratifying to see my father's story told with such great care. When the new movie is combined with Dune: Part One it is by far the best film interpretation of Frank Herbert’s classic novel DUNE that has ever been done

It’s insane to me that in around 5-6 minutes Denis Villeneuve captured just about everything that Dune is and will be with perfect harmony of choreography, dialogue, sound design, CGI, Soundtrack, all of it, fucking flawless.
