Side bar. I just don’t find BIG 10 football enjoyable or fun to watch. Yes, USC played horrendously. Yes, they deserve to lose. But having every team try to shorten the game on you and getting seven or eight possessions is just not a fun product.

I think it’s fair to say that if Emmett Johnson was around this season we’d be an undefeated top 10 team at this point. Injuries to our RB room haven’t helped, but our inability to run the clock out and control the game on the ground has cost us dearly the last two weeks.

This Nebraska team can still have an outstanding season. There’s not a team—including Ohio State—they can’t beat. Nebraska IS a good football team in 2026. Can they get out of their own way in the 4th quarter, though? I think one close win soon goes a long way with this team.

Spare me. Bo Nix is still slumping, but to say his play is "almost disrespectful" — Bro, the #Broncos went 4-2 with the toughest six-game gauntlet I've ever seen a team get served to start a season. Without Bo, you don't storm back to beat Jacksonville or the Rams, and I would argue you don't win tonight without him. You think Jarrett Stidham has the mettle to win those big-time games against top-tier defenses? Sam Ehlinger? PLEASE. Bo HAS TO improve. This is not a sustainable model. But this team sits at 4-2 and now gets a mini-bye. There's plenty of time to fix it. Calm down, Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I'm not overly concerned with Bo Nix. We've faced some formidable defenses so far, and it's hard to settle in when the run game averages 3.4 YPC. As a result, it feels like they've been operating behind the chains and put into obvious passing situations.
