Why the fuck would anyone pay 4.2 lakhs for a used phone when it is available brand new from apple at 3.5l today π
Iβm willing to sell my iPhone Duo 256 GB black variant with AppleCare, which I bought just last week.
I liked it in the beginning, but now I donβt use it for even 30 mins a day. Itβs just kept on desk the whole day.
My main iPhone 18 Pro is much better and practical. Price is βΉ4.2 lakhs. No bargain. DM me if interested.
lol this is why i feel all the hate he is getting is fair. this is a mostly useless product with maybe marginal benefit for some very niche use cases (debatable). but i hope he burns a lot of money on this. will be an expensive lesson at least
this isnt even 1 week worth of food wtf π
Never fucking doubt me again (I was 54 pence over)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The shown Β£20.54 Aldi haul is not a month's food for one person. Average UK household food spend is Β£33.63 per person per week (~Β£145 monthly); even tight budget weekly shops cost ~Β£20 for one.

can apple make a screen-less wearable asap so i can cancel my whoop subscription tho
At @temple, one of our missions is to become the ultimate wearable for elite performance athletes.
And today, let's start with the basics: Heart Rate (HR).
You would think accurate HR tracking is a solved problem. It is not. Especially in zones 4 & 5, which matter to professional athletes the most.
To see whether Temple is the most accurate wearable on something as basic as HR, we gave ourselves a high bar to aspire to. A Polar H10 chest strap, taped to the chest. Taped, because worn the usual way, straps lose contact mid-sprint and miss beats. We benchmarked five flagship wearables against that reference, from rest to max effort, second by second.
All the other leading wearables were well behind Temple in our study. Apple Watch Series 12 came closest. Temple also beat the untaped chest strap, the industry's benchmark, in zones 4 and 5.
Why does Temple win? Two reasons.
1. Temple uses adhesive, so its lab condition is its wear condition. You'll experience our study outcomes in real life.
2. The location. Your temple sits right over a major artery, and it's the one patch of skin that doesn't clamp down its blood flow when you go hard. We tested the same sensor at four body sites. The temple was the most accurate of the four.
Charts attached.
Accurate HR makes Temple better at so much more downstream. More soon.
The full paper and data are live right now at temple.com/science, and an extended study by independent researchers is underway.
We invite further independent replication in more conditions, and will fund it. Write to us at [email protected]
obvious ragebait but jfc ben and jerryβs is looting indians I get the same sized tub for like 4Β£ here π
I mean if you are taking on debt to buy a property in the hope that you make a profit on renting it out then you deserve to lose money on it lmao
Replying to @OldMartens
You do realise most landlords with properties in their own name are currently operating at a loss or on paper thin margins? Maybe this is something you donβt realise?
holy LARP man, at 200k combined the tax is nowhere near 90k and even if it is 90k, no way you cant live on 110 a year bruh

this is such obvious engagement bait man π
And if it's true, this is even more extraordinary. Imagine asking a fellow business class passenger who paid for their seat (when you got an upgrade) to downgrade to economy so you can sit next to your daughter who didn't get upgraded!

heβs just fucking stupid man, not unlucky π
Leopold Aschenbrenner might genuinely be the unluckiest motherfucker alive.
After getting absolutely destroyed in July and being forced to liquidate much of his AI portfolio, he reportedly came back swinging in early September, buying hundreds of millions of dollars worth of options premium.
Look at how those stocks have performed since September 8:
$CRWV: -37.4%
$SKHY: -25.8%
$SNDK: -23.8%
$DRAM: -22.9%
$BE: -18.1%
$INTC: -9.4%
$AMD: +9.1%
Six out of seven are underwater, with an average decline of roughly 18.6%.
And remember, we're talking about someone who reportedly rebuilt exposure through leveraged options, not just common shares.
Imagine surviving a massive forced liquidation, watching your favorite stocks recover, deciding it's finally safe to get back in, and then getting hit by ANOTHER brutal selloff barely a month later.
The worst part about options is that you can be absolutely right about the long-term AI infrastructure thesis and still lose a fortune because your timing was wrong.
I genuinely feel for the guy.
The market has absolutely no mercy.
