According to Hugh McCullum, "Biafra is a history which Nigeria will NEVER successfully rewrite, nor silence of the world erase". At d peak of Civil war, Biafra suffered a lot due to economic blockade and deployment of hunger by FGN as a weapon of war ...1/ #BiafraHeroesDay2020

Rilwan has still not been released or formally charged.
Rilwan Olawale’s 1 AM arrest isn’t the first time an opposition supporter has vanished overnight. It happened to Joseph Onuorah in 2022. As Nigerians trend #FreeRilwanNow and demand answers, we break down the verified facts, the unconfirmed claims, and what the law says.

In Nigeria, INEC seems to want to do a historical reprise of what transpired in Cook County, Ilinois, USA where many year ago when dead people reportedly voted because their names remained on the voters register. INEC has failed to clean up the voters register over the past four years. Not only are AI generated persons on the list, deceased prominent public Nigerians are still on the voters roll. These are the people we know. How about millions of deceased persons we don't know? INEC be real. Fulfill you statutory obligations, please. If these four (4) deceased prominent people are still on the voters register, think of the multiplier effect across 774 local government areas. Shame!

In 2024, Governor Okpebholo's polling unit had 397 voters on the register. In 2026, it has 4,783. That's 4,386 new voters, a 1,105% increase. A Guinness World Record? @inecnigeria, please explain. πŸ‘€

Be deceiving Peter Mbah and yourself, keep wasting borrowed resources in the name of campaign. Ndi Enugu has since dissociated themselves from this sham. Enugu is NDC
It is an honour to be part of the Progressive Movement for Peter Mbah (PM4PM) as we take the movement deeper into every local government and ward in Enugu West and Enugu East. His Excellency, Dr. @PNMbah , has shown us what visionary leadership looks like, and Enugu deserves to see this vision through. I am proud to stand with him. Tomorrow is here. Ndi Enugu, onward together! No vacancy in the Lion Building! #PM4PM #TomorrowIsHere #NdiEnugu #PeterMbah #GrassrootsMobilization

No matter the policies of the Tinubu led APC Federal Government, I believe the gap will remain wide unless we fundamentally change the direction of our economy. My leader, Peter Obi, has consistently said that Nigeria must move from consumption to production, producing more, creating jobs, supporting businesses and building industries. That is a philosophy I strongly identify with. That is also why I have made industrialising Delta State central to my Reset Delta agenda. Delta has an overwhelmingly young population. If we do not build industries, attract investment and expand productive businesses, where will the jobs for our young people come from? We cannot continue with an economy where our people merely consume while opportunities and industries disappear. I am following the path of production advocated by Peter Obi because I believe Delta must produce, manufacture, process, export and create jobs. That is the difference in the direction I am proposing for our state. We must move Delta away from a consumption-driven economy and build a productive, industrialised Delta where our young people can work, businesses can grow and families can prosper. That is why I am in the race to Reset Delta. #ResetDelta #DCI #NDC #IndustrialiseDelta

Look at this crook who have never created nor managed wealth except feeding on our commonwealth calling H.E Peter Obi "dumb". You charge and bail lawyer that have lost many cases than he has won, is as deranged as Bola the druggie. Come 2027, Bola is going home #NigeriaMustBeOk ✌🏾
This dumbness is beyond measure. I really don’t know whether to laugh or to cry. No wonder his approval ratings have plummeted so badly. Nigeria did not just dodge a bullet; it ducked a massive howitzer!

I am deeply concerned by reports of suspected artificial intelligence-generated photographs and other questionable records in the preliminary register of voters published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). These allegations raise serious questions about the integrity of our voter registration system and the safeguards in place to protect the credibility of the forthcoming general elections. With the 2027 elections approaching, INEC must provide Nigerians with clear and convincing answers. How did these suspicious images enter the register? Were the individuals associated with these records genuinely registered? Were the identities properly verified, and could these irregularities have affected the accuracy of the voter register? While I welcome INEC’s decision to investigate the matter, but Nigerians deserve more than assurances. The investigation must be thorough, transparent and independent (outside of INEC’s internal affairs), with its findings made public and any individuals found culpable held accountable in accordance with the law. INEC must also allow a comprehensive and independent audit of the preliminary register, verify questionable entries, investigate possible duplicate or artificial identities and ensure that no eligible Nigerian is disenfranchised in the process of correcting irregularities. Our democracy cannot afford any compromise in the integrity of the voter register. Every eligible Nigerian must have the right to vote, and every vote must count. Equally, nobody should be allowed to exploit technology, including artificial intelligence, to undermine our electoral system. The credibility of the 2027 elections begins with a credible voter register, and INEC must get its act together. - RMK
