The message from the left to Ed Sheeran is basically, “support us publicly, or we’ll try to cancel you.”
They preach tolerance, yet seem completely intolerant of anyone who refuses to adopt their political viewpoint.
Ed Sheeran hasn’t even taken the opposing side, he simply doesn’t want to publicly campaign on Israel and Gaza.
Apparently even neutrality is now unacceptable.

So they’re basically saying that, hypothetically, if the referee isn’t watching, a player could pick the ball up with his hand, throw it at an opponent, and somehow get an own goal from it, and it wouldn’t be disallowed for handball because it was technically an own goal?
