Final day of the GGC Season 1 Road to London Qualifier. Everyone wants to find that token before it runs, but knowing what to stay away from can be just as valuable as spotting the next runner. That’s where onchain research comes in. With @gmgnai, you can dig into wallet activity, token data, and other signals instead of making every move just because the chart looks green. With @jessepollak pushing to bring more traders and communities into @base, competitions like this add another layer to the ecosystem. The Base Track wraps up today. Curious who’s making one last push for London.

Me I have sha said it, I don't care what you do on your TL. But as someone living abroad, if you come to my TL to spill bullshit about me being irritational or not logical about politics, I'll swear for your entire generation. You don't share my reality, you can continue smiling with people invested in destroying the country, that's your problem. I wasn't raised to smile at injustice or be friendly with evil people or those supporting them. You guys over there being chummy with those ruining the country are the biggest cowards on the face of earth, because you're seeing in real time what a working society should look and operate like, you should be angrier than the folks living in Nigeria but as long as you can post yourselves shopping and vacating in France or disturb struggling Nigerian babes for sex every December, Nigeria can burn for all you care. People talk about how the average Nigerian is selfish, it's not even about giving to the needy, it's issues like this where people just don't care what the average Nigerian is going through because they want to look good to their APC friends. And the same people who keep quiet about these issues are the ones always quick to champion tribal narrative on the TL. You can defend Yoruba first narrative but can't defend Yoruba people against those ruining their lives. Fucking cowards.

Inspired by @Shalom_HeyEliy and @eureka_seamless, I decided to remake a childhood game we all loved. I Call On! was a big deal back then, and I hope that playing it takes you back to simpler times. 🇳🇬❤️ You can play it here: icallon.online/game

Lmao He’s the active deputy governor. Even if he manages to win in February, he won’t be sworn in till May 2027. That’s still like 8 months away. Why can’t Sanwo-Olu & him start ending road extortion as of now?? He’s just deceiving himself.

Amazing. @drobafemihamzat, Sir, I have never met you. If I had your number, I'd call you. Your people can reach me. I am quite surprised at your response. Quite shocked you dug in and tried to play it off as "social media". I found that quite condescending. Yet you want our vote and respect. First, it seems you did not read my post. Please do. You read an article in this video and even then the headline. You should have read my post to them verbatim. You then made a beeline to your competitor which shows you think this is a political hit. This is not politics for me. I run a business in Lagos that has created thousands of jobs, trillions of economic impact, and has a field sales team. Traffic affects all of us and our daily sales work. I have lived in Lagos all my life. From Ipaja to Opebi to V/I, Lekki, etc. I know Lagos traffic. People have died due to traffic blocking emergency ambulances. I missed my kids play last week due to traffic. Calling it a lifestyle - and I listened to the whole talk btw - is an insult to our collective experience. If you really care to engage, you can reach me. We can enter the traffic together and experience the lifestyle. Maybe that would help you see the correlation. God help us.
Lagos Traffic… “What I said in my speech Vs. what people took out of context.” — Lagos Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, replies ADC’s Chinedu Rhodes-Vivor and his whimpering supporters… at an event this evening. @drobafemihamzat

This bro has been wrong on every major social-political issue he has commented on. I was 18 years old when he insisted that Buhari was going transform this country. He was wrong then. I’m 30 now and his ideas have still not improved one bit. You begin to wonder…
Nigerians like to be emotional so they abandon logic. The clear point @AskMichaelTaiwo with his tweet is "the true cost of baseline quality University Education is ₦1M / Student per year". We can argue how it should be paid. Your emotions will not change the fact that Quality Education is expensive and it is not being funded appropriately here. If you do a Venn Diagram of people that are attacking him, they are the same people that believe Jonathan created 8 Universities because he called a converted Duplex a University. And someone that has 10 papers of self referenced work a Prof. The people arguing against the cost of University Education are the same that are happy to pay 3x the price point of same in a "Private University" Should government subsidise quality University Education? 100%. Can a well run Nigeria subsidize quality public education for 50%+ of University age people? 100% But Nigeria is not well run. We have Universities churning out science graduates that have never seen a petri dish not to talk of Microscope. But these people do not care. They want to answer graduate not realizing there is a massive opportunity cost of going to a poorly funded University. The feeding, accommodation, transportation cost alone and is a very poor return for the quality of education in public universities today. After 4 years of paying the ancillary costs to get a non functional Microbiology degree, all but the top 10% need to spend 6 months being trained to be a cashier, or end up selling wig, food or okrika on Instagram. Their peers in other school internationally are manipulating the human genome. (even if at 16 both kids were level academically) I was fortunate to have gone tk a public University but things were not as bad as they were. And public Secondary Education was miles ahead. Of course the population was different. So the idea is how do we recalibrate and get on track! Then there are the personal attracks that MT of all people is pulling a ladder he used to climb. What a joke! No Nigerian individual has helped the poorest Nigerians climb the academic ladder more than MT. (@AskMichaelTaiwo please how much is the in scholarship has MT fellowship been responsible for since inception?) But again this is Twitter and nonsense is allowed. The other day it was @winexviv they attacked for trying to call out the WAEC boss. The problem is still there but the attackers never cared. They only activate their neutrality when it is time to fight those trying tk change the system. Anyway, my very strong opinion remains, government should transition out of running and primarily funding University Education. The focus should be on Primary and Secondary Education then perhaps technical colleges. For those that want to go to University, there should be scholarships for the most brilliant and loans available to bridge the gap for others. People thag can afford it should pay full tuition Government should focus on ensuring the standards are set well and kept. They can give all incentives (land, tax breaks etc) that will reduce the cost of setting up and running Universities. If you wish to disagree, the floor is yours. But for most people who are a product of poorly funded Universities, all they can do is insult and "drag". Anyway, all the best to all involved.

Norway doesn’t have anyone in the top 100 but ranks 3rd globally in HDI. Nigeria is 161 globally. I could give zero fucks about Dangote’s wealth.
I don’t think people realise how big of a deal this is. Alhaji Aliko Dangote is among the 40 richest people in the world. Not top 500 or top 1000. Like only 37 people are ahead of him. Out of billions of people. That is crazy.

I don't know who that is but best believe anyone carrying that optimism around especially seeing the downward spiral we've embarked on since 2023 and still showing funny optimism, the person is either shielded from the Nigerian reality or benefitting from it.
Tosin is always so optimistic about Nigeria, I wonder how she does it.

A swap is only the visible part of a DEX. What actually makes a DEX useful is everything happening around that swap. That’s what made me look closer at @gnoswaplabs . I’ve already made a few swaps on the platform and I’m also on the leaderboard now, so I decided to look beyond the points and understand what is actually happening underneath. ➜ Liquidity GnoSwap lets LPs choose the price range where they want their capital to work. That means liquidity can be positioned around the prices where trading activity is happening, rather than simply sitting across the entire range. When trades happen within your range, your position can earn swap fees. ➜ $GNS has a bigger role $GNS isn't just another token sitting in your wallet. You can stake it for xGNS, giving you governance voting power while also allowing you to participate in protocol fees. ➜ New projects have a route in Launchpad takes a different approach. You lock your $GNS for a selected period and receive tokens from a participating project. Your $GNS principal isn't spent on the launch. The trade off is the lock period, while the protocol fee yield is redirected to the project. ➜ The leaderboard adds another layer My swaps have already put me on the board, and I like that activity on the platform isn't completely disconnected from the wider ecosystem. You can build points through swaps, liquidity and staking, while referrals can also contribute to your score. The more I explore GnoSwap, the less I see it as just a place to swap tokens. It is becoming a piece of the infrastructure around Gno.land where liquidity, markets, governance and new projects can all connect. I'm still early, but I'm paying attention. @gnoswaplabs Join through my link: beta.gnoswap.io/?referrer=g1…
