Vice President Sara Duterte's bar exam grade became an unexpected talking point on the fourth day of her impeachment trial after defense lawyer Atty. Mark Vinluan claimed she "has a higher grade than most of the lawyers here."
The remark immediately drew a response from presiding officer Sen. Francis Escudero, who reminded Vinluan to avoid making disparaging statements, noting that he had no way of knowing the bar exam grades of the other lawyers present.
