my video got 600k+ views and this is flo’s response. my spite is usually a joke but this is actually so nasty and condescending. data wasn’t technically “sold” but you still had an FTC and class action case over sharing user data which you settled for $8M. Meta was in this lawsuit too, didn’t settle, and ended up being found liable where they received data from Flo. besides, my point here was women should: 1. own our tech & reproductive data 2. understand how our cycles work doing a little research could help us understand our bodies better and cycle prediction is literally just math. that last line expects us to throw our sensitive information into the hands of “credible experts” rather than “replicate their expertise” aka remain ignorant and powerless. women have been tracking cycles by hand for generations before you. your product isn’t that hard to build. 10/10 times we will choose to protect our data. pathetic @flohealthapp
