I've spent enough time complaining about the state of football in Cape Coast, so I put some ideas on paper about what we could actually do differently.
Kindly give it a read and let me know what you think kwabena-asare.medium.com/the…
Thanks.

Who owns the consignment? Who loaded it? Should be a straightforward way to catch a big fish, right? But we know how this will turn out
NAIMOS has intercepted a truck carrying 43 Chanfang machines and other illegal mining equipment at Akontombra Nkwanta in the Western North Region. Two vehicles were seized and two people detained for investigations.
The operation comes two days after another truck carrying 22 Chanfang machines was intercepted at Eshaem.

Exactly the bit I disagreed heavily with. I mean her broader point made a lot of sense, but to view it as offensive b someway. Sometimes people must learn to give grace and not forget where they too clawed out from.

For the first time in a long time, people above the coach know their jobs are at risk hence the reluctance to sack him. They aren’t honest people.
This will only end up blowing in our faces. Ladies and gentlemen, we are joining City in the championship next season.

Sam George deserves what he’s getting 😂😂😂😂. Inserting yourself in a corporate decision like you’re some saviour. Failed DSTV minister 😂😂

I’m too obsessed with change
I’ve had enough of doing surface work
Talk to an audience once without reinforcement and it withers away a few days later
So I make things tangible. I build tools I can put in your hand to establish progress while I’m away. That’s the only way

The four-part series comes to an end today!
It has been an insightful and educative journey.
A big thank you to Dr. Elsie for generously sharing her knowledge and expertise with the Asante Kotoko family throughout Pink October. 💕

Sometimes the org is not funded but they are doing impactful work
And working with them as a student/career transitioner gives you a competitive edge because you learn in a real work environment and organize work around your schedule.
@jakuuire is hiring. Link is in thread.

The thing about prosecuting sexual offences in Ghana is this: there is always a big man of God calling on the victim’s parents to look to God, forgive, and allow an out-of-court settlement of the issue.
They just annoy me.

Colonial respectability produces this brand of elitism.
Brought to you by the same channel that teaches girls how to walk by balancing books on their heads, that requires high school students to eat kenkey with a fork & knife.
We are living in a stasis of colonial hangover.

What is happening? Everywhere I look, there is one educated Ghanaian woman going on as if we don’t have actual problems. How are you teaching people from ethnic groups that eat with their hands to use spoons for soup? What colonised foolishness is this? xitter.cf/the1957news/status/211…

In Luke 4:18-19 where Jesus quotes Prophet Isaiah and declares what his ministry is about it centred on liberation ( social, spiritual, physical) if Jesus who is the standard focused on a theology liberation, that should be the minimum for those who claim to continue his ministry

Whenever I think I’m not where I wanted to be at this age, I remember this. Some of us are building from scratch; no connections, no mentors or legal godparents, just God and our brains. Ɛbɛfa soon.
Some lawyers have family members who can introduce them to clients, help them establish chambers, or connect them to influential people.
Others are the first lawyers in their families and have to figure out everything from scratch.
We don't all start from the same place. Let's stop pretending we do.
