NO FAREWELL FOR AIR CHIEF MARSHAL A.P. SINGH!
Just two days before his retirement, the Air Force Sports Complex near PM Modi’s residence was shut down, forcing the cancellation of the outgoing IAF Chief’s traditional farewell golf event. What a message to the leadership of the Indian Air Force! A slap to the dignity and respect our armed forces deserve….
To much bechasti of ap Singh Lamo

Another SCAM! National assets built with public money must not be handed over to private players at throwaway prices. We demand full transparency, fair valuation, and an immediate CAG audit before taking any further steps! @RahulGandhi

🚨Calcutta High Court brutally EXPOSED Itself🔥
(MUST Read & Share)
36-minute video on Modi-Adani "friendship" is now BANNED across YouTube, X and Instagram.
In New India, you can question anyone. Except Modi's best friend. 💀
Who is scared of the truth, Modi ji?
→ Calcutta High Court has ordered the removal of the video "How Modi and Adani Stole India: The Friendship Files", made by Sabeer Bhatia.
→ The case was filed by Adani Enterprises. The order came from a vacation bench on October 26, before any trial.
→ Not just the video. Its clips, short versions, reposts, quote posts and shares too.
→ Platforms must also preserve IP logs and hand over details of unidentified uploaders in a sealed cover.
→ Even before this, the video was blocked in India after a GOVERNMENT complaint under the IT Rules.
→ The ban stays till January 31, 2027.
Now connect the dots.
First, Modi's government gets the video blocked.
Then Adani goes to court and gets every clip and repost wiped out.
Then platforms are asked to dig out who uploaded and shared it.
The court itself said such pre-trial bans should be given only in "exceptional" cases, with "great caution".
Hindenburg came, Adani is facing US charges, opposition asked for a JPC. Nothing happened.
But one YouTube video? Banned within weeks.
When the government and the corporate both rush to bury the same video, ask yourself what's inside it.
High Court ji, if pre-trial bans are "exceptional", why is it Adani who always gets the exception?
Modi ji, if there's nothing between you and Adani, why did your government block a documentary about it?
Adani's reputation is "Article 21". What about the public's right to know? 🔥🔥🔥
Business World magazine has a sensational scoop based on the internal minutes of a Committee of Secretaries on Disinvestment showing how rules were changed for the controversial privatisation of IDBI Bank which was sold to Canada based Fairfax Financial Holdings at Rs 52,878 crore ($5.55 billion) at Rs 81 per share.
The internal minutes state that the initial sealed bids from Fairfax and another entity came well below the confidentially set minimum reserve price of Rs 94.42. The Fairfax bids came at Rs 75. So what do the babus do? They pull off something unprecedented but do it openly and transparently. They move to another valuation method and ask Fairfax and another bidder (strangely not named because it was later rejected by Home Ministry for security reasons!) to give new bids. This time Fairfax bids Rs 81 per share , still well below the original reserve price of Rs. 94.42. Then Fairfax says this is the final offer and it would withdraw if not accepted. The government accepts it and also gives some relief on disputed tax claims on IDBI Bank. Tax payer also makes a hefty contribution here!
The deal goes through at Rs 81 per share(the original reserve price was Rs 94.42) and the internal note strangely gives reasons why this sale was necessary for the government at this juncture- Fiscal stress on Centre due to high energy prices, lack of FDI inflows and the currency under strain because of the global energy crises!
As per Business World report the justification for change of rules and methodology for the sale of IDBI Bank came from the General Financial Rules for sale of government physical assets but not shares. Then it cites the Railway Stores Code on auctioning scrap:
"Bids lower than the reserve prices may, however, be accepted by the Depot Officer where found expedient provided the Depot Officer doing so records his reasons in writing."
In my 40 years of journalism I have not come across such justification for privatisation.
Business World's Palak Shah must be commended for this investigation.

IDBI closed at Rs 90.39 the day before the Fairfax deal was announced. The winning bid was Rs 81.
The government also gave tax relief on disputed claims. So the taxpayer took a lower price and a sweetener. The note's stated reason was fiscal stress from high energy prices.
If the price was this weak and the justification this thin, why not publish the full valuation and the minutes and let Parliament examine them?

First they saw the bid. Then they set the price.
That is Business World's headline, and it describes a sale run backwards.
The sealed bid came in at Rs 75. The reserve was Rs 94.42. A new valuation method followed, and the final price landed at Rs 81.
In a clean process the price comes first and the bids follow.
If the benchmark moves after the bids are opened, was it ever a benchmark?

Instagram blocks another video of LiveLaw which explains the pending legal challenges against the SIR. (instagram.com/reels/DfFA7K_h…)
Two days back, Instagram had blocked a reel on the ECI's affidavit in the Supreme Court in the SIR case, before restoring it after a few hours.
The reason given for restricting the latest video is "We received a legal request to restrict this content".
The same video is available on YouTube : youtube.com/watch?v=-UN-u4ny…
Instagram removes the reel posted on LiveLaw's official page about the ECI's affidavit in the #SupremeCourt.
The reel, which was only an explanation of the ECI's version, was removed by Instagram saying, "We received a legal request to restrict this content".
There is no explanation how the reel (instagram.com/reel/De_dnDnOW…) violated any law.

Why? What for ? Very sorry to see this kind of statement from a veteran. After a long time one journalist has stood up on her spine. @RitikaChopra__ is a role model for the likes of @sudhirchaudhary Arnab, @navikakumar @RShivshankar @AMISHDEVGAN etc who brought Indian media to its ultimate ruin.
