DeFAI SuperApp is comingβare you ready?π
Proposal for the Soft Merger of @ThenaFi_ and @VenusProtocol has been Submitted β¨
This move could unlock next-level DeFi synergies, creating a seamless hub for lending, trading & staking! π°
Let's Dive Deep π§΅β¬οΈ
The latest @thenafi_ 's fee share update is an important step in shaping how the protocol shares its trading revenue with the community ποΈ
Following the recent $THE mint, the announcement outlines four key points:
πΉ A step for the future: The recent mint was a necessary move to secure THENA's future and accelerate development.
πΉ veTHE fee share: The share of trading fees allocated to veTHE holders has increased from 40% to 90%.
πΉ theNFT fee share: theNFT holders now have a 10% share of trading fees.
πΉ Compensation plan: THENA is preparing a plan for veTHE and theNFT holders to address fees missed under ARK.
For veTHE holders, moving from 40% to 90% is a significant increase. The 10% allocation for theNFT also gives NFT holders a defined share in the fee distribution.
At the same time, the fees missed under ARK is an important parts of the conversation. Securing the protocol's future and accelerating development matters, but so does addressing the impact on existing holders.
That's why the compensation plan deserves attention. Its clarity and execution will be important in maintaining community trust.
Ultimately, sustainable growth is not only about generating more revenue. It's also about how that value is distributed and how transparently decisions are communicated.
The next chapter of THENA will be shaped by both π
Another week exploring, contributing, and learning across the @thenafi_ ecosystem.ποΈ
A busy week around THENA, with plenty of ideas to research, content to create, and activities to keep up with. The Zealy workload made this week particularly demanding, but I managed to get everything done.
Not everything went according to plan this week, but there's plenty worth sharing.
Here's my weekly recap π§΅β¬οΈ

5/ Putting veTHE to Work π³οΈ
I also continued participating in veTHE voting.
One of the things that motivates me is the opportunity to earn a share of voting incentives and protocol fees.
For me, it's about making use of my voting power and participating in the economic side of THENA, beyond simply holding the token β¬οΈ

6/ Looking back, this week wasn't just about completing quests or publishing content.
I explored new ideas, experimented with different content formats, and pushed through a particularly demanding sprint.
Not everything turned out exactly how I wanted, but that's part of the process too.
Next week, I'd like to bring back a little more planning, give my content the attention it deserves, and continue exploring the THENA ecosystem π

DeFi becomes more interesting when $THE different pieces work together ποΈ
Think about two important parts of the BNB Chain ecosystem π
πΉ @thenafi_ : Trading and liquidity layer where users can swap assets, trade perps and participate in liquidity providing.
πΉ @VenusProtocol : A lending and borrowing market where users can supply assets or borrow against collateral.
Different products. Different purposes. But both contribute to a more complete DeFi ecosystem.
Here's where the connection becomes interesting.
THENA gives users access to markets where assets can be traded and liquidity can be provided. Venus creates lending markets where supported assets can be supplied and used as collateral.
Together, they represent two important financial primitives: market access and capital access.
And that's an important direction for BNB Chain, moving beyond isolated applications towards an ecosystem where different DeFi primitives can create more useful experiences.
THENA's vision of a broader DeFi SuperApp, alongside Venus and other ecosystem projects, makes this particularly interesting.
The next phase of DeFi won't just be about having more protocols. It'll be about how effectively the pieces connect π

It's a good day to be a liquidity providerππ
$THE latest @thenafi_ pool snapshot is giving us plenty to talk about.
π₯ VELVET/BNB: Up to 476.39% APR
π₯ SINGULARRY/USDT: 473.06% APR
π₯ ETH/BNB: Up to 69.11% APR
Different pools, different opportunities, and different risk profiles.
Providing liquidity isn't just about chasing the highest number. Understand the assets, monitor your position and know the risks before depositing.
In DeFi, security isn't something you work on once and forget. New integrations, evolving technology and increasingly sophisticated threats mean the work never really stops ποΈ
@thenafi_ has continued strengthening its security through smart contract reviews, audits, permission checks, dependency reviews and $THE improvements across its ecosystem.
But there's another important part of security that no protocol team can handle alone, the community.
Every user has a role to play:
πΉ Always verify links before connecting your wallet.
πΉ Use official THENA channels and trusted contract addresses.
πΉ Report suspicious links, accounts and activity.
πΉ Help others recognize phishing attempts and potential risks.
One careless wallet connection can undo years of saving. Staying vigilant is not optional in DeFi.
Building long-term trust on BNB Chain takes more than strong technology. It requires consistent security efforts from THENA a responsible community around it.
Security is a shared responsibility.

What if your community could build its own liquidity market on @thenafi_ and capture 88% of the trading fees? π
That's $THE opportunity behind THENA V3.3 custom pools ποΈ
Traditionally, new projects face a familiar challenge: getting their tokens listed is one thing, but building sustainable liquidity is another.
Custom pools give projects and communities another way to approach that challenge.
Here's what makes this interesting:
πΉ Permissionless creation: Anyone can create a custom pool, including for tokens that aren't already listed on THENA.
πΉ 88% fee share: Custom pools outside the $THE gauge system can earn an 88% share of trading fees.
πΉ More opportunities: Token teams and communities can create liquidity markets around the assets they want to support.
Why does this matter?
Because liquidity shouldn't only be something established projects can access. Smaller communities should have ways to build markets, attract liquidity providers and participate in the trading activity around their tokens. That's what makes this feature worth paying attention to.
THENA isn't just providing a place to trade. It's giving communities more tools to build their own liquidity ecosystem.
Create the pool. Bring the liquidity. Share the fees π

Every great partnership starts with a conversation
Somewhere between a pitch deck, a few $THE tokens, & an invisible handshake, we're trying to make wrestling historyπ
@thenafi_ x @JohnCena . The collaboration nobody saw coming.
Now that's what I call next level visibility π

THENA is looking for an ambassador. π
We found the perfect candidateβ¦ or at least, we found his cap. π
John Cena x @thenafi_ ? Imagine the visibility he'd bring to $THE DeFi.
The only problem is, we still can't see him. π
@JohnCena , the offer is on the table. Come make some noise with THENA π

Everyone talks about locking $THE. But have you looked at the veTHE secondary market? π
One interesting aspect of @thenafi_ 's governance model is that locking $THE isn't the only way to obtain an existing veTHE position.
Let's break this down.
veTHE holders can vote on gauges, direct $THE emissions towards the pools, and earn a share of fees and voting incentives from the pools they vote for.
Those votes matter because emissions help attract liquidity, while protocols compete for vote through voting incentives.
But here's something worth exploring:
You can also acquire existing veTHE positions through the secondary market.
Instead of creating a new lock yourself, you can explore positions listed by other holders, at a discount to their underlying locked $THE value.
Sounds interesting, right? But there's more to consider.
Before purchasing, look beyond the discount:
πΉ How much $THE is locked in the veTHE position?
πΉ How much lock time remains?
πΉ What voting power does the position carry?
πΉ How does its remaining lock duration affect its value over time?
πΉ Are you prepared to participate in weekly voting, knowing that rewards depend on the pools you vote for?
A discounted position isn't automatically a good opportunity. Its remaining duration, voting power and economic value all matter.
Don't look at veTHE only through the lens of locking. Understand the governance mechanism, explore the available acquisition routes and evaluate the trade offs before making a decisionπ

We understand the concerns around the recent issuance of $THE tokens. It was a necessary step to help secure THENA's future, giving us the resources needed to accelerate development and growth.
THE-03 (ARK) was previously implemented as an alternative to THE-02. Now that the mint has been executed, we're making the following changes:
- veTHE share of trading fees: 40% β 90%
- theNFT share of trading fees: 0% β 10%
Additionally, we're working on a plan to compensate veTHE and theNFT holders for the trading fees they missed out on under ARK.
Our goal has always been to do right by THE community and make sure THENA succeeds.
That still stands.
