誰でも任意のコンセンサスを取るネットワークを構築でき、誰でもそのネットワークに参加して、他の参加者と取引することができます。
誰かと取引したいのであれば、その人たちが参加しているネットワークに加われば良いのです。
参加者がコンセンサスの仕組みに納得できないのであれば、同じ考えを持つ人たちと新しいネットワークを構築したり、別のネットワークに移ったりすれば良いのです。一方で、その仕組みに納得できなくても、既存の参加者と取引し続けたいのであれば、そのネットワークにとどまるという選択肢もあります。
そして、より多くの参加者の取引を支えるネットワークを目指すのであれば、多くの参加者が納得できるコンセンサスの仕組みへと進化し続けなければならないのです。

This is both good news and bad news for me :)
I'm gonna be straight up honest:
"The Ripple team awarded us the maximum $250,000 bounty offered by their bug bounty program. To our knowledge, that's the largest ever paid out for a vulnerability discovered entirely by an AI agent."
This is laughable for a bug like this, and the signal it sends is dangerous. The bounty should have been at least one more zero. AT LEAST.
Ripple sits on an infinite amount of cash thanks to the monthly escrow release, and the best reward (assuming there are no others we know about it) they could come up with is 250k for something that could have wiped out their entity's existence.
Biggest aura loss ever; this is outright pathetic.

XRP Ledger version 3.4.1 is now the minimum required version after the recent amendments were activated.

xrpld 3.4.1 is being released with a Batch fix and stability improvements.
We’re asking validators and node operators to upgrade as soon as possible. There has been no impact to mainnet, and no loss of funds.
There is also a new fix amendment, fixBatchV1_2, which addresses a minor issue with Batch that does not pose a risk to funds.
The amendment is marked as Default Yes. Both Batch and the fix amendment are in the activation period and set to activate in 2 weeks. A detailed technical report will be shared after the fix amendment has been activated.
