The last thing my S&S ISA sees before a 20% drawdown
Forgot all about that ponzi scheme until now. Absolutely mental how they got away with it in hindsight
Harry Kane winning the Ballon D’or is so bittersweet for us former #FootballIndex investors. A tough but much needed lesson upon reflection, doesn’t make this 2020 screenshot any easier to look at. Six years later and still no answers, accountability or funds recuperated.
Saw a post a while back that the only people who care about the balloon door are third worlders and now I can't unsee it. Seems about the same level as sports personality to me
The goy whales are branding themselves with GLP1 tattoos now. If you're not remortgaging your house to buy lilly stock then I don't know what to tell you
Will the last one out of the yookay please turn off the lights

I genuinely didn't think the government was actually being run on vibes despite all the jokes. But looks like they're actually getting all their analysis from substack and money saving expert. Jesus wept.
Some chatter on social media would have you believe that crime is out of control.
The facts tell a different story.
As @frasernelson has shown in his Substack today:
Violence is at its lowest level since the crime survey began in 1981.
Robbery is at a record low.
Crime, excluding fraud, is 78% down on its peak in 1995.
And the stats show this Government is delivering on its promises too:
Knife crime is down 11%.
Knife murders are at their lowest level in 35 years.
Thefts including phone snatching have fallen by 20% in the last year alone.
But I know there is more that we must do, and we will:
We’ve put more than 3,800 extra neighbourhood officers into roles, with named, contactable officers for every neighbourhood.
We’re introducing the most significant reforms to policing in a generation.
We are tackling rising rates of violence against women and girls through our landmark strategy.
And we are tackling crimes like fraud, more prevalent in our increasingly online world, with £250 million directed to this challenge in our Fraud Strategy published this year.
Before anyone gets excited what the plebs think doesn't matter to the economy anymore
Very striking plunge in UK consumer confidence: biggest single-month drop since Covid April 2020. Usually a drop this steep is event-driven (saw a similar slump around Brexit) whereas it's harder to pin this on anything more specific than rising costs. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
Yanks are spending $30k to add a shower to a bathroom yet there's still people out there thinking the stock market is going to collapse
My mom wanted to add a shower to her bathroom so she got a contractor out for a quote. I told her beforehand its gonna be like 20-30k
Guy spends 2 hours at the house, probably another few hours at home doing the quote. Comes back at 30k and she's like nope way out of my budget
I'm like mom you wasted that guys whole day lol. She says it was a free quote, he offered to come out, she didn't make him do anything
Which is kinda fair tbh. He could've just asked on the phone "these usually run 25-30k is that in your budget" and saved himself 5 hours
Contractors need to stop giving away free time like this

🔴 KING CHARLES & THE WELSH CHOIRBOY
In 2016 there was a massive wave of celebration across left-wing media. A family-of-six from Syria had reunited in Cardiff after fleeing their war-torn home country. Even the then-prince Charles got involved in welcoming the family to Wales. 10 years later — the father, Mousa Alsharki, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for raping a woman twice, before attempting to pay someone £3000 to steal the victim's phone, so Alsharki could delete evidence.
He was not only convicted of rape but also perverting the course of justice after the person he offered to pay refused the money. When the family fled Syria, they had initially left their 8-month-old son Omar behind. In a warzone.

I could swear this is the same bloke. Glowing, puff piece article about him on the BBC from 2016. Seems to have same name too.
Strangely, no article on there about this.
Just in time for the uniparty requiring us to upload our passport to access social media. What could go wrong
