should just semver AGI at this point… like we’re in AGI ver 0.3.6 or something
while everyone's joking that TanStack got acquired by Vercel (spoiler: it didn't), here's another win for the agnostic stack:
TanStack Start × ArkEnv - framework-agnostic tooling meets schema-agnostic env validation. client/server split included.

It is and continues to be. Vercel did not acquire TanStack, they became a partner, of which we have many (link). All of our software will always be agnostic tanstack.com/partners

on the subject—if you're using an AI code review platform with per-seat pricing (CodeRabbit, Greptile, etc) consider how it perverts incentives.
these platforms are incentivized to use cheaper models to boost margins. if you want SOTA, use @pullfrogai and bring your own key ✨
Goodbye per-seat pricing.
Per-user pricing has always rubbed me the wrong way. And in this agentic age, it feels downright antique.
For the vast majority of the time Basecamp has been on offer, we never charged per-user. A few years ago we experimented with one pay-per-user plan, and that experiment just came to an end.
And it couldn’t come at a better time. With the Basecamp CLI (and soon MCP, too), you can bring your agents to Basecamp as users too. Charging you for individual agents feels just as wrong as charging you for individual people.
So today we have brand new pricing plans with NO PER-USER FEES. Studio (starting at just $59/month) and up includes UNLIMITED USERS + AGENTS. Lower plans don’t charge per-user either, but have a reasonable cap on the number of people you can invite. The primary cap is now on projects, which is also how our pricing was set for nearly 20 years.
These new plans don’t affect current customers, so if you like what you’re on you can stick with it for now. We may offer a transition option down the road, but these new plans apply to brand new customers moving forward.
The doors are open. Invite your team, your contractors, your collaborators, your clients, and your agents. Everyone’s included. Just you, a few, a dozen or two, or even hundreds more, invite them to your Basecamp and get everyone involved!
Let's go!

just got this email from @pullfrogai.
it's an automated note (probably written by AI) that found an issue in my config and told me how to fix it, before i even looked into it myself and opened a support ticket.
this is the future of SaaS.
@colinhacks - you've outdone yourself!
ArkEnv v1 is out (in Alpha)
• Deleted 200+ lines of custom AST parsers & file mutators
• Shrunk the CLI footprint from >1.6MB to <50kB
• Replaced magical .env.example file generation with a strict, read-only CI guard (check --verify-example)
Here's what you can expect 👇
Optimized for the edge - ArkEnv is a super tiny library that downloads fast and is essentially weightless. After all, it uses your existing validator to check your env vars. Great for strict edge deployments. Cold starts suck!
Experiment with ArkEnv v1 Alpha with `npx arkenv@alpha init` in a new or existing project.

shout out to @dashfydev - i really like their config-based dashboards and i'm definitely gonna use it for my own projects!
