Yk what, opening up my heart again ! A part of me beginning Heliograph SMP was to do some gentle exposure therapy. All of my life, I have had control and perfection issues. I’ve had a million projects that have been wiped from the internet, or never saw the light of day at all, because they ‘weren’t finished enough’ or I didn’t think they were good enough. I’ve also had issues with putting too much work on my own plate, and not letting things play out slowly and letting myself enjoy the things around me, in favor of keeping control of what is going on. So, with Heliograph, I started it with the intention of observing, and giving only mild guidance. Issues will always arise in groups and nothing ever stays on script, and that is okay, because people are having fun !! I get to take inspiration from what people interpret and what information they want, and build upon it. Right now, that is more important to me than any perfection or control. I love seeing how much people like what I have made, no matter the parts that I think are imperfect or could be better. So I guess it’s working !!
