I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of Allen Bailey. When I worked at the Orlando Sentinel, I spent the day with him where he grew up, Sapelo Island, Ga. We rode the ferry from the mainland to the island. He was the perfect host. A gentle giant. May his memory be a blessing

He spent his career celebrating Louisville’s legends. Now, he’ll take his rightful place among them.
On Jan. 2, we’ll honor Kenny Klein with a permanent place in the rafters of the KFC Yum! Center. We love you, Kenny. ❤️

A few stats on Miami moving to No. 1:
- It's the Canes' 69th time at No. 1 in the poll.
- Miami is the third different No. 1 in a three-week span; last time that happened was 2012.
- 4th team to be No. 1 so far this season.
- Miami is 42-6 all-time as nation's No. 1 team.
